Your User Group permissions are not set. You need to rebuild your bit fields so that when you set them, they don't default back to no. Once you set them properly, the check box will display for those user groups that have permission to create events. Also, once you have permissions set correctly, when you click on the box, it will execute the script (It won't, because it checks for permissions.. all you did by removing the if statement in the template was bypass the permissions check to display the check box to the correct user groups)

I don't even know if this is possible or how hard it would be.

a php script to create a new vbookie thread for you.

so it creates a new thread; Title, Message
then Event group, Event Title, number of outcomes (will always be 2), outcome1, outcome2, Odds1, Odds2, Accept bets until, bets paid after, timezone (will always be Eastern), and allow multiple bets (always unchecked)

i installed for 3.68 and i got this error when i click Bet Statistics
Code:

"Database error in vBulletin 3.6.8:

Invalid SQL:
;

MySQL Error  : Query was empty
Error Number : 1065
Date        : Saturday, March 1st 2008 @ 02:33:59 AM

"

anyone can help ? thanks

I've looked through several pages but couldn't figure out what vBookie's status was for VB version 3.7. vBookie is an essential mod for my sports forum so I'm hoping that it will either be released as a 3.7 mod or that the only changes needed to make it work are the changes needed for 3.6.

Are the 3.6 edits the only ones that need to be made?

works fine on 3.7 .. i've tested both having a preexisting install on 3.6x and upgrading vB to 3.7 (worked fine) and also a fresh install on a 3.7 install .. both work fine, just do the same recommended fixes (from Paul) and you will be g2g :cool:

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. This is by far my favorite mod, to the point where I'd pay someone to keep it supported if necessary. :up:
