Unless you plan to goto an XML one click install I'd not change how anything is done. That should be what your decision is based on.

I'd rather have more options then some stripped down chat. That's what separates this chat from the others.

Yes this would be a one click XML install.

I would directly include commands in files & database thus avoiding install of commands upon each command modifications when a new release of the chatbox is out.

The chatbox wouldn't lost any of it's functionnalities.

Ok. You are not making sense now. If it's going to be a 1 click install, and not lose any functionality why ask which type to goto? As in option 1 or option 2. Based on your reply, that isn't the case.

My thoughts...

When upgrades happen, you still will need to re-upload the files, images and XML. So I don't see how much changes. Just less needed user wise to "install" the plugin.

I use the /me command. Hardly any of the others. Are the commands causing the issue from going to a 1 click install? If so, add that as an "addon" then ;) So the base install has all minus the commands. If they want commands they add it.

I've d/led the files and uploaded all the files.. It still shows the [email] tags.

Disclaimer: Might be me.. Tired! ; )

Entering no message in the chat field results in a message telling me I must enter a chat. That's a good thing however, the screen area dims and I must hit F5 to get back. Same thing happens when I attempt to Private chat however, I can't seem to get it to do anything but tell me the user doesn't exist.

Any starting places I can look for the issue?

Update: 2 of 5 template exhibit the issue of dimming and needing refreshed so it's my problem but I could really use a tip to keep these two templates in place... (I can recreate the problem by inserting an image)

One thing for uploading confused me :

- in the 0.5.0 version, the "Files/clientscript/mgc_cb_evo_add/css there's one file : images.rar.

Should i extract this and upload the extraction files to : forumroot/clientscript/mgc_cb_evo_add/css/images or : forumroot/clientscript/mgc_cb_evo_add/css ?
