I just installed this and it's working beautifully... Except now all of my users can see who left them reputation hits. Before, only certain groups had that ability. In the usergroup admincp module, the reputation options block is completely missing now.

I tried adding it back manually by copying from a fresh VBulletin download and adding the relevant code block into usergroup.php. That brought the options back in the CP, but now I get a database error when I try to save those options.

Has anyone else run into this?

secondly the vcash isnt showing up at the users profile and the vbookie link isnt showing up at the top of the index page where it says member list user cp etc

Anyone know how to change the pay out winner after an event has been settled. My "bookie" sometimes clicks the wrong checkbox.

Transferred all files to proper folders. Assumed file editing was only necessary if upgrading from an older version. When trying to run the install, I got this error.

Database error in vBulletin 3.0.8:

Anyone know what I might have done wrong?

This is actually a feature desperately needed for the updated 3.5x version. A way to unsettle markets and then resettle them properly if the operater made a mistake.

The way I do this now is by executing a series of MySQL queries from the command line. But it doesn't claim back money from those who were wrongly settled as winners.

How can I uninstall this hack to re-install?

Is there like a way to put it in vBulletin 3.0.9? I havnt read all posts in this thread but if you could provide a link the page if its here thanks or if its not in 3.0.9 wats the latest version of vBulletin its on?

In response to the various people that have asked me about a version of vBookie for vBulletin 3.5.0, I'm sorry to say that I have no current plans to produce one myself. Although Ihave a lifetime vBulletin licence, my year's worth of free upgrades expired in March, so making a version for 3.5.0 would be difficult.

I installed this hack on my 3.5.0 forums and it worked beautifully. Should I not have installed it?? If so, please let me know. :)

I really like the hack, btw. It is incredible, tjdrico. If you did create an upgrade for 3.5.0, our community would certainly make a donation on your behalf using paypal.com.

No, no, Brimstone I didn't mean that at all. Some people have asked me if I am going to do a version for 3.5.0 so I assumed there's some problem with the existing version. If it works with 3.5.0 that's great! Can anyone else confirm it works on 3.5.0 OK?

TJ: Cool! The only problem we have (which doesn't affect the outcome, really) is this error message after a bet is placed:

No Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator

That error opens on a new page, but the bet IS placed. Any ideas?

Problem Im Having...

For Some Reason, My Bookie Seems To Have A Maximum Payout Of Somewhere A Little Over - $2100000000... So When My Users Are Making Bets, Anything Won Over That, They Will Not Recieve Anything ($0)

So When Users Place High Bets And It Totals Over The Payout, Nobody Recieves Any Winnings...

Or When Lots Of Users Are Betting And It Totals That.. Or The Winnings Total That Or Over... Nobody Recieves Anything

Im Assuming Others Have Come Across This Problem? Anybody Able To Help Me Out With That..

When we add a forum and try to make events we cant do it, as there isnt a box to tick where it should say ''add a vbookie event''. Any suggestions?

BigT, I suggest you check your usergroup permissions for vBookie. That's all your usergroups too. This happened to me when I first installed it again and then I wondered why my users weren't betting then I realised I hadn't given them permission to do so...!

you quite possibly only have vbookie installed on some styles and not in others. So, Vbookie will not show up if you use custom templates other then the template you were using when Vbookie was installed

or your permissions need editing

I'm not sure we can delete the parent style of the skin that we are currently using. We had 6 different skins and we have deleted 4 of them

If i delete the parent skin of the one im using will this delete both skins?

Use the skin that you have added the templates to. Then set that skin as the parent. Then revert the templates of the other skins to match the default one.

is there a way to put a limit for points to win per user for a specific event?

for example, milan vs inter (soccer betting)
users "may" bet on any option in a limit of 1000 points, nothing more for milan, inter or the other options. is this kinda thing possible??

Is there any way I can maunally delete events without the thread? When I first installed it I put some events up and I did it wrong so I deleted the threads for the events without ending the actual event first. Now they're sitting there but they won't go away as I havn't settled them. Any way to get rid of these?

Ok, I've read through most of this thread and can't seem to find a similar problem - so help please?

I've done everything in the instructions and there are no parse errors when I load the site. I set vBookie as active, and selected uCash. Problem is, when I try to access vbookie.php there's just a blank page. Same thing happens when I select "Post vBookie event" as a posting option . . it just loads a blank page!

Everything appears to be ok. As I said, no parse errors, no install errors, and the vBookie options have been added to my ACP.

Now I do have v3 Arcade, uCash/uShop, & vbChat installed (and working well) but I think the prob must be some kind of clash with one of these hacks.

I expected to make some minor changes in view of these prior modifications . . the change to my includes/init.php looks like this:
As I said the other mods were/still are working fine . . and the prob may not necessarily be with this file. I simply can't get the vbookie page to display - any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Ok, got it working on 1 theme. The problem seems to be that the vBookie templates were only added to the theme that was set as "forum default".

That isn't the vB default theme, and the vB default theme can't be "parented" by an added theme . . so is there a relatively easy way to get all the added templates into the default theme (and others) . . or would I need to copy each template and add them manually?

how can I adjust the winning amounts as an option wins it should be paying for 1.50 => 1.50, not 2.50
I mean;
for example, if a user puts 100 points and the odd is "1.5" (15/10) and the user gets 100+150 points, 250 points if he wins.
However I want to give him (if he wins) "150", instead of 250

I hope I'm clear enough. How can I adjust this? thank you.
