It does do that by default, but custom URL rewriting software like vBSEO will break it. It works fine with the default vB SEO URLs though :)

After upgrading from 2.0.4 to 3.0.5, On the settings page, under Forum Integration, the following error is displayed:

I can mention users, but the users are unable to get notifications. Appreciate a quick solution on this please.

Try rebuilding the bitfields by expanding the Rebuild ACP section and hitting "Rebuild Bitfields".

Just rebuilt bitfields, no luck. Same error.

I uploaded all the files like it requested, then I installed the XML file.

But this error came up

Upload the contents of the upload folder to your httpdocs/boxingforum folder.

Ah I see the user group tag is in the pro.

Is there a way to stop it from telling users they have quoted another user? As it seems they can get notification for that as well at various times.

So for example:

MattGarner quoted Bertie would show up etc.

They don't get a notification, no, and the profile list is just for completeness' sake. But in the future we'll introduce an option for that :)

On our forum I just got a notification because I quoted a user. Once I click on it, it then takes me to my profile and the top quote is me quoting another user.

How do the members disable email notification from quoting?

How can I remove the Tagged Users list at the top of each page? Looks bad on my forum

Can we stop this working in certain forums?

So for example I have a private members section.. I dont want a user that is not in there to get tagged and know that he may have been talked about :D

You can disable the functionality via the Forum Manager under DBTech - User Tagging in the AdminCP menu :)

The Lite version can only disable per Category, whereas the Pro version can customise individual forums.

Not sure if this has been asked before. We currently use tapatalk but are looking into a having a free mobile style. Half of my active members use tapatalk. When they @mention or quote someone using tapatalk, they do not get the notification. Is there a particular mobile (vb, forumrunner, tapatalk) that this does work with?

I have installed AUT and it's working great except it's not working for me. When somebody tags me I dont get any mail. I get all other mail from the forum and I've checked the spam folder.
When I tag someone else or when someone else tags anyone but me it works.

I installed the addon with my user account but I guess that shouldnt matter?

Check that your user group is not off in the backend globally

As I said, it's working for everyone else. That would turn off mail for everybody, right?

Either admin email or user email (at least one of the two) needs to be enabled in order for emails to come through :)

vBNotifications can indeed, you need to set up the content types in vBNotifications after they're discovered by the system, though.

There needs to be notifications, or there need to pass some time. Not sure.
