New install of 4.0.6. This works, but it will not remove the 'What's new' button.

I tried using the sample provided in the initial post for the pop up window for the chat and it did work to an extent. It actually caused the same problem I am having with my other window code. It is not logging users in.

I think this mod is awesome for adding certain links but I think windows etc should be done manually instead unless the author has any work arounds that work better than the above..

I have a strange instance. I checked to remove the Home tab, but it did not go away. Any idea why this might be?

Yeah I just upgraded to 4.06, but this Home tab not going away was happening in 4.05 as well for me.

the new tabs are not staying highlighted after I clicked on it. How can I solve this?

I modified the plugin so now drop-down tabs will highlight using THIS_SCRIPT method.

why does it say Invalid File Specified when trying to import the product? what am I doing wrong and has anyone experienced the same? I'm vbuletin 4.0.6 tryin to install 204a

1. I like to put a home button, so i used a url but it open's a whole new page so i tried to make a home.php upload it via ftp does anyone know of a php code to redirect? without it going to another page or highlighting Forum while you click on Home.

2. Under Home tab there is no navbar links.

I'm having trouble with positioning the tabs.
I'd like the Contact Us tab all the way to the right.

I have the position selected as "right (end)"
but it doesn't go all the way to the right. Only to position 4.
I need it in position 6 (far right).

How can I do this?

When I install and enable this mod I get the error quoted below;

I run vbulletin forum only 4.0.6. Error presents itself above forum header.

Identical error manifests when I install and enable module with similar purpose as this one called "vBH-Add new tabs"

I installed this plugin with my vBulletin 4.0.6 and did it exactly as the directions say and it installed fine and when I refresh my page the new tabs are on my website (in Spanish but Im sure that can be changed) however, my problem is that there is no area on the navigation panel to make changes (Tabs vbSoporte) which it shows in the pics I should have correct?

I cant make any changes to the tabs if there is no "Tabs vbSoporte" section in the navigation panel to make the changes from what I understand. I do see a section added to my vBulletin "Options" area that says "Tabs add system for vBulletin 4 by vbSoporte" but it is limited in changes that can be made, only basically allowing what tabs should be hidden or not...

So am I missing something or what do you suggest I do??? I already tried uninstalling the plugin and re-installing but still seeing the same problem. Please help!

and i made a link to my home page using vbadvanced and vbulletin 4.0.6 so the link would be http://mywebsite.com/forums/cmp_index.php

so when i click on home it creates a new link instead on this forum where you click on home it goes to home but i also when i click on home it highlights Forum so your like clicking on home but Forum tab is highlighted yes i also tried renaming cmp_index.php to home.php still forum would be highlighted. Picture below.

I got it figured out and working now. Only issue Im seeing is the same type mattyphatty mentioned where I cant get a tab to go all the way to the right.

I installed that gallery plugin, but cant get the gallery tab to move since I would rather have a different tab all the way to the right like contact us.

Any suggestions?

Damn tis isnt working with my 4.0.6

Also having issues with highlighting here ... I'm trying to set up separate tabs (and sub links) to the albums mod and album.php ... but all it does it highlight the "forum" tab and not show the sub cats at all.

OK ... sussed it.

For example.

If you want to set a tab to "album.php", you set "THIS_SCRIPT" to "album", nothing else ... no URL, no extension ... just the script name and your tab will be highlighted correctly. :)

If you want albumall.php to highlight the same tab, you add "albumall" to the above THIS_SCRIPT bit. (no spaces next to the commas)

Complicated, but I got there in the end.
