can you help me how can i add a loading image while forums load?

Ok, I installed and everything seemed to work alright.

I have two tabs "Forum" which is the main (default) forum, and "Events" which is obviously section for events.

When I load the main page, it takes forever to load the forum part. sometimes it wont show at all.

Is this something I've done wrong? or is it normal to take a while?

I need your help.
installed this beautiful and most useful mods on vbulletin 4.0.5, everything seems to work but often, very often I do not see the content of the Tabbed :-(

I am sure that installation and configuration, but does not work even if I use "All Forums" (tabindex.php? tabcat [] = all)

Only in very few times I have seen the correct content, but then disappears again at the next visit

I'd like to know how to
1) Load all categories by default (there is a split second when loading the non-default tabs)
2) Implement tab history so that the tab is remembered and still selected on page refresh (even if its not the designated "default tab"

Everytime I try to edit the header template I get an internal server error when I try and save. All my other templates are fine :(

Does anyone at least know how to target/link to the tabs without breaking the style?

he said something about using part of the 3.7 mod and making a lot of edits to index.php
so this is not an option i would opt for due to having to re-code index.php on every update.
So i guess we have to wait for someone to update this mod with more options, or someone
that is fluent with YUI or jQuery to recode it.

Its really not that tough to update as it is simple additions (not changes). Plus, its not like forum.php (not index.php) gets updated that often between releases.

I don't think you have entered the forum id's in the option bit.

I fixed it, but now there is one problem, the whole forum is below the tabs, like this:
There is a tab for General, and under it is the forum stats, and under it is the whole forum board,

I dont know wheter i can post it here or not,
But we made some modification in TFH.
1. We Enabled History for selected tab. So Even if you reopen your browser, the preselected tab will load.
2. And i dont know how to explain the other modification. When you open the site, All the tabs are automatically cached, so when you click tabs they load immediately. No waiting needed :)

as long as you post your modifications to it in this thread, I don't mind, however, releasing it as your own not allowed.

The Zip file contains a Folder named "UPLOAD" inside that are the files and folder structure that needs to be uploaded to the FORUM root.

I can't say it any more clear. You upload the contents of the "UPLOAD" folder into your forum root (which is the directory that contains all the core vB files). This is very BASIC stuff.

How do you find Forum ID's?

admin cpanel left side usergroups drop down usergrop manger. hope this is what you are looking for..
if thats not what you mean maybe you mean user titles same thing left side user titles drop down user group manager. one og them towo have to be what you are looking for if not you can message me ill help as much as i can.

Or you can just hover over each forum in main forum page, and the link at the very bottom will show you it's ID

Almost the same as above, i have followed the setup and style modificatoin instructions to the letter, tripple checked all of the settigns to.

i currently have two tabs, one for the general forum and one for staff, i can see the tabs but nothing else.

and yes before its asked i have set the correct categorie ID's and group permissions again theaase i have tripple checked.

After some more diggin about it appears this mod will work with a site that uses multipul sub domains!
All you need to do is to in to ACP > Settings > Options > Site Name / URL / Contact Details and set "Always use Forum URL as Base Path" to no.

After that this mod should start working on a site were the forum component is using a different subdomain to the main Forum URL

e.g

Forum URL: example.com
Forum component URL : forums.example.com

as you can imagin im now quite please to have this working on my site as i had intended from the beginng :D

Note: I have just upgraded my forums to version 4.1.11 and wish to report this mod is working wonderfully with the new version.
