This was created for vBulletin forum and will integrate into it perfectly if both, forum and addon are set properly. If you are using custom styles you may need to add product variable manually to your templates. Product will work with no problems on vBa CMPS if it's installed to the forum root folder. If you have installed vBa CMPS to some other folder you may experience several problems, including bad links, stats not loading,... etc... especially if you are using several domains. Put your cmps_index.php to forum root folder to avoid these problems.

Hiya!

Mine was working fine until I updated a minute ago.. now my vBa CMPS is just "loading.." always...

my forum is in /forum, as is vBa..

edit : vBa is in / ... that's my problem, huh?

I do have several domains..

Anything I can try please?

Cheers,
Dave

I just reverted to the older version, and all good again?

redlabour 05-10-2009 11:40 AM

Still missing the Random Threads with IMGs Function.

Dave-M 05-10-2009 12:15 PM

Thanks mate, this version ironed out the issues I posted about last time, thanks :)

Move forum to root folder?

I'm wondering why you are creating these /forum/ folders anyway if you are using vBa CMPS?

It's ok to make separate folder for the forum when some other portal is used, but it's completely unneeded for vBa CMPS users.

3.6.x?

vB 3.7.x/3.8.x has some setting codes which are not recognized by 3.6.x., so this version will not work on 3.6.x.

busybeeburns 05-10-2009 01:47 PM

I've disabled it from the forum home page due to server load issues (large forum). Any way of having a link to the stats page in Quick Links dropdown only?

Great mod beyond this issue though :)

Quantnet 05-10-2009 02:03 PM

Thanks a lot for the new update. It has many options I need.

By the way, let me ask you this one more time. Why guests can't see the auto refresh feature? Is this a permission setting somewhere?
They have to reload the page to show latest post.

Valter 05-10-2009 03:32 PM

Because we don't want them to eat our resources (bandwidth, server load,...).

Disable auto-insertion in product options, then add link to this page to your QuickLinks table (navbar template):
misc.php?do=cybstats

Installed and works great.
Thanks Cybernetec this is really a good version.

Red-Devil, decrease the settings in visual settings.
(Trim Forum/Group Titles - Trim Usernames - Trim Thread/Blog Titles ) ;)

chrissmith 05-10-2009 06:21 PM

have errors with advanced cmps - and i have troubles with the integration from forum.php ! In the 3 Ajax Tabs of the Advanced Forum Statistic i have 3 Instances of the whole page included the content anywhere in the page.

so it seem that the integration tool from cmps adds some content to statistiks ..

anyone with the same prob here ?

thanks,
chris

Edit : 6.2 working fine for me ...

directprint 05-10-2009 09:49 PM

Great mod, but the auto refresh is not working for me.

DobieGillis? 05-11-2009 12:11 AM

skylab 05-11-2009 01:07 AM

Leo Brazil 05-11-2009 11:00 AM

Just updated to 6.6 and I have to admit to load stats got faster than it was on 6.5.

Thank you.

ViViD 05-11-2009 12:52 PM

God save you guy.

jejuarez8 05-11-2009 07:37 PM

Is there a way to fix the statistics box from protruding from the forums while now in full window mode?

Quantnet 05-13-2009 10:53 AM

The auto refresh does not seem to work.

dbirosel 05-14-2009 12:35 AM

Question:

Newest members are on block 1. Block 2 is random. How do I prevent Newest Members showing on both blocks?? I just want it on Block 1.

Makaveli007 05-14-2009 01:14 AM

tried the update, however I didnt like how you cant have the 2 rows of up to 5 different sections display by default. i went back to 5.8

DJ XtAzY 05-14-2009 03:28 AM

the latest forum news doesnt work for me. It gave me the error Check startup plugin or something like that. I have the correct forumid setup too.

Same here. forum.php mixes it up totally. Turned off unless some fix is given

Valter 05-14-2009 04:15 PM

v6.6.1 - May 14. 2009.
-Fixed bug: Auto-refresh does not work when second block is disabled
-Fixed bug: Random mode sometimes shows the same stats in both blocks

To upgrade:
-Import XML, allow overwrite
-Revert hack templates if modified before

Megatr0n 05-14-2009 04:36 PM

The other bug still shows in IE.

zefyx 05-14-2009 04:44 PM

Updated & lost all of my settings, but that's alright I suppose.

Thanks!

zefyx 05-14-2009 04:47 PM

Actually, my settings are fine. What happened to classic layout?

If you have upgraded from old, non-AJAX version, you'll see a lot of differences...

Having several stats refreshing automatically may push your server. That's why we have less blocks here, but also nice feature to view any stats in two clicks without page refresh. Older versions had more stats blocks but users was not able to view more than that.

Non-AJAX version: max 6 blocks = max 6 stats
AJAX version: All stats available in 1 or 2 blocks + auto-refresh, manual refresh, random mode,...

Bergler 05-14-2009 05:20 PM

This new version doesnt work on CMPS home page like the one two updates ago??? Is there a fix?

mariocaz 05-14-2009 06:02 PM

Cyb in my CMPS in the forum statics always said loading.... this happened since version 6.6, becase were working perfectly on my forum and portal.

samiro 05-14-2009 06:37 PM

I know. But it did not work on forums with several domains and some different settings.

I can only recommend you to have forum and CMPS installed to the same dir.

vBaCMPS/FORUM/
or
FORUM/vBaCMPS/
just makes things complicated with no good reason.

Move your vBaCMPS index file to the forum root dir, then update homeurl and portal settings. This will increase compatibility with several vBulletin add-ons.

Megatr0n 05-14-2009 06:55 PM

Cybernetec, the issue I had with the stats box? Will, the fix for IE be coming anytime soon?

sojobo 05-14-2009 08:37 PM

Is there anyway to keep the thread prefixs' markup the way it shows in forums?

Bergler 05-14-2009 10:20 PM

So, what you are saying is, if we are using CMPS as our main index page, we should just get rid of the stats on that page and only show it in the forums main or use 6.5?? Or am i missing something here?

Jap, that would be nice, to keep the html-tags around the prefix...

kyrenator 05-15-2009 09:23 AM

can i add this mod to CMPS?

EDIT: I found it!!

thanks

alaa2142 05-15-2009 11:16 AM

This is easily done via .htaccess which is placed in forum root folder:
Code:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine on
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^FORUM.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.FORUM.com/$1 [L,R=301]

Replace FORUM.com with your domain...

I have added this to my .htaccess file in my forum root. I have imported the latest version of the product but I still get the loading issue. I am running 3.8.2 Any ideas??

Update: I deleted the product and installed version 6.4 as per someones suggestion. Now it works. Why doesnt latest version work with 3.8.2????

mikey1991 05-16-2009 01:02 AM

thanks for the update
