Today I added 2 Videos (as HD Versions) from YT onto my Video Directory. The displayed fine, worked without a Problem. Then I did include them with the BB Code into a Forum post, and then I got a Database error all the time.

If its both clips in one post, or separated, always a DB Error. Even as the non-HD Version.

I never had this Problem once and when I added a different Video just for testing and included that via BB Code into a Forumpost, there was no problem. But only with these 2. Any ideas what that could be ?

Hello,

I have just added Video Directory and see the link for it on my forums. As there's no videos yet added, of course, there aren't any listed.

However, I cannot find where the

Add New Video

link should be. It's not in my Control Panel and I didn't see any option for it under the AdminCP Video tab. I ensured the user group had

Can add videos

set to Yes as well.

Help?

So I have my video page integrated into my vBadvanced page (so that I have some modules to the left of the video page) and I am trying to move the category listing and everything else in the left column to the right column. How would I go about doing this?

In other words, how do I get the VIDEO_SHELL template to appear to the right instead of the left?

First off, product works great. Thanks for all your hard work. :)

My feature requests would be the ability to have a new post created in a selected forum upon the addition of a new video to the directory. Also, as someone mentioned earlier in this thread, an increase in post count for adding or commenting on a video would be nice. And lastly, the addition of some of the other major video sites like liveleak and break.

Yeah, this is one of the first things we did. A quick template edit in video_home and you can easily move the tag cloud to the bottom.

When posting a Comment I'm getting the "?" (/misc/unknown.gif) as the Avatar and not the actual avatar of the Member who commented. It clicks through correctly to the Member's profile, it's just not showing their avatar.

The avatars work elsewhere, just not when commenting on a video. I checked the storage type and they're in the file system and I rebuilt the thumbnails, but still no change.

Any ideas?

One other question, when bringing in an HD video from YouTube, is this supposed to auto detect it's an HD video or do you have to force it? If so, how? I've tried the regular url but it brings them over in standard (HQ) size, so I put "&fmt=22" at the end of the url, but it still shows as standard size. How do I get the HD size in the directory with an HD video from YouTube?
