Moderators are gettings the same points as users, there is no difference in calculation.

Yes, should be possible by deactivating the relevant plugins. Some parts can be already disabled by settings.

Yes, it's using much queries if not optimized to your needs. See also readme_optimization.txt

Blog posts, replies and views are using the same settings like normal threads, but they are not counted towards the threads, they are bundled to the blog points (listed under misc).

Levels are like a staircase. You can define which and how big/small steps a user needs to reach the next level. With levels everybody sees how much points someone has.

It's "Thread Necromancer". This one is a negative point provider.

Ran into what you might call a minor bug poking around in the ACP. Not knowing what the Add Points link would do when I clicked on it, I didn't add any information but the blank fields were saved as an entry anyway. I wasn't sure at first, as I didn't notice till I came back to Manage Custom Points menu and clicked it again just to be sure. Sure enough I now had two blank entries. Deleting them caused a database error which I just now realized I should have copied and pasted here. The two entries deleted okay, but just in case it could cause a problem, I thought I'd mention it.

Something similar happened here. I added 5000 custom points to 4 users (What i called Staff Points). Then i gave one of them 5000 more so he could buy some items at the shop and give them away to some users. When i tried to take away the extra points remaining, he got negative numbers.

Graphically

Users original points: 5000+ 5000 (to buy and give away items) = 10000.
Once finished giving away presents users points: 11000. -6000 custom points... got -5000 or something like that. I had to fussion that user with a new one i created :erm:.

By the way... Are you planning to consider money & bank in a near future? That's a faq in my forum.

I keep getting errors when posting after I uninstall this.


Apparently other users have been having the same problem and you are claiming they are not uninstalling the product 100%. I've uninstalled it first, and then went to the kill file and removed the tables. What else is there to do to get rid of this error that isn't allowing anyone on my site to post?!?!


I've even went as far as reinstalling it, posting to make sure I can post and then uninstalling the product once again, then killing the tables...and still....error.


Even after I install it again, the xperience_done table doesn't exist. Could we be getting this error because of one of your earlier editions of this mod...and it's something you didn't put in the kill file to remove?



Solution
Go to uninstall the product, but when you get the "are you sure" message, stop and don't press yes yet.
Go and run the kill file in another window/tab.
Once that is done, go back to the other window/tab and press yes.

That is intendet. The points are added once you click on the button, after that they are getting updated.

Yes, a bank is on my todo list.

There is no xperience_done table, it's a column in the user table and it's beeing removed by the uninstalling the product.

Yeah, several people have asked about this before. There isn't much more to explain: people can buy items, but they can't give them away. It says it can't find the username, even when you start typing and click on the name that pops up.

This will safe me a lot of time reviewing accounts for promotion. Will this be in the next version?

I was wondering, how to make this one item. I call it Custom user titles. This item, once purchased, allows the user to make his change his/her default user title to whatever he/she wants it to be(as any admin can already, but not registered users). Is this possible. And if so, How so?

That will not work this way. To have it like you mentioned it the code behind the template must be rewritten.

This was an error in versions before 3.8.3 where username contained non ASCII chars.

I doubt, as work on 3.8.4 is nearly finished.

Anyone know how to get the statistics on the FORUMHOME? say for instance the top 5 in points maybe in a sidebar or just a hookable item?

Check to make sure your images are where they're supposed to be.

Just look at the images folder in the upload folder. Put everything that's there in the corrosponding directory of your styles folder.
