I'll admit I don't know what PHP is. I'm new to all of this and trying to learn. |

All I want to know is the fact that you can use this modification to NOT register, but only link your account to Facebook for Updates.

For some reason, anytime I install this and try to post via the quick reply (I didn't test posting a thread or from a reply), I get the following message: The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters. It doesn't matter how long the post is, it won't go through. It's not anything with the product itself because I disabled it and it still wouldn't work. I rolled back the template changes and then it started working again. Is there anything you can think of that would cause this problem? I'm sure it's my fault somewhere, but it's happened twice in two tries now. |

This looks really cool, anyone got a working demo?

Great Product saved me a ton of time! Quick question, on users logging out of the forums the logout page (cookies cleared) does not have the FBConnect button under teh logon box. Any idea why this might be. I double checked the navbar template and the FB Code appears in both login areas of that template. If you want to see the behavior the URL is www.wdwnewstoday.com/forums

has anyone added the connect with facebook link on their CMPS page??

I'm getting the minimum number of character bugs too. It's something to do with the change needed to this in SHOWTHREAD, newreply and newthread
Code:
<form action="newreply.php?do=postreply&t=$threadid" method="post" name="vbform" onsubmit="return qr_prepare_submit(this, $vboptions[postminchars]);" id="qrform"> There's some kind of bug in that code :) Note i'm running 3.7 |

not a huge deal, but I am not getting notifications on Facebook when I reply to a subscribed thread.
|
My users (and me) are still reporting getting notifications for threads they've never subscribed or even posted in.

Mapping Feature Request: Can you please add one for their Facebook profile ID? I use this hack and it would be great to map it to the hacks required custom user profile field.
Great work and thanks! |

Warning: preg_replace() [function.preg-replace]: Compilation failed: regular expression is too large at offset 42684 in [path]/includes/adminfunctions_templateedits.php on line 1064 All the threads aren't showing in my forum so I can use this addon until it's fixed. HELP!! I'm using 3.7.4 and the TMS mod. UPDATE: I reverted the TMS template and edited the original SHOWTHREAD template. Everything works. I guess the 2 mod's don't mix well together. |

Is this related to the "Post news-feeds to the user's wall on Facebook" setting? I've switched it off and it seems to have stopped happening. hmmm. |

I thought I was careful when changing the templates, but there were quite a few ... I'm not a big fan of template changes like that, don't think I'll be trying it again. Update: I found this thread. http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=259421 I am using a very heavily customized template, maybe a conflict??? |
Any resolve on the looping https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/?
I have upgraded from 1.1.3 to 2.0.1 I have cleared the browser cache. Several times in sheer desperation... Tried it in IE; loads with page errors. (yellow ! in left hand bottom corner). Next day, sober. Problem still exists. Reinstalled the xml file and re-did the template edits just to be sure.... Problem still exists. Now this could be the butt of the problem, but I hope it isn't. I'm running vb 3.6.8. fbconnect-1.1.3 worked fine with it as far as I could see. Now it doesn't want to load that connect button... EDIT: Error codes from IE: Code:
