I know in Chatbox Full you can empty the entire chatbox. I liked to have a command (/prune) so that the chatbox will be empty (truncate database). Finally I edited the xml. I added lines 887-908 and 1936

I wanted to request if somebody could integrate post count with chatbox so that whatever a user says in the chatbox increments his / her post count and if the chat is deleted from the archive it should reduce the post count.

I wouldn't recommend doing this. First, it encourages spamming and it will reduce the amount of posts you will get in the forums.

Is there a way to disable the archive?

I'd love to see a way to download the archive (we had used MCG for a while and were able to do that) having that archive download feature worked out very well for us and I would love to be able to do it with Cyb (my users voted on which chatbox they preferred)

I'm not sure if this was mentioned (or if it's available as a function. I cannot see one) but I would like to see in a future release the ability to ban a user from the chatbox and they can only get back into the chatbox after they post more inside the actual forums! This of course is only aimed at users who only stay in the chatbox and do not contribute to the community. If you force them in this way they could see that the main forums are not that bad and contribute regularly. Just an idea.

i installed advanced BBcode permission today and dunno suddenly chatbox has started behaving in a weird way. when every i type something it adds the tag to it i dunno why its happening please help!

I got this problem where the chat box is putting in an extra / on misc.php and IE will error if you click on a folder next to a username but works on firefox and I can't seem to find it in the code. If you set a particular group, or user with out X amount of posts not able to view chatbox or chat, they are still able to do so if the go to the FULL view of chatbox on:

Ever since I've installed Cyb Chatbox, the forum page with the chatbox would not load on Internet Explorer at all. I get errors and a pop-up that aborts loading the page. It works perfectly fine on Firefox as well. I've disabled the chatbox and will probably uninstall at this rate... which is a shame, because my forum's Firefox users and I really love this chatbox. :(

It worked on version 2.2 after uprgrading to 2.3 yday this problem happened. Uninstalled it and put 2.2 back on and then the problem for internet explorer users was still there..

When i run the forum with the english language, the date fonctionality work's.
When i use the french packtage, the shoutbox don't display the date anywhere.

I've installed this on the CMPS but I can't get any of the posts to appear, just says loading. Also whenever I click on the archive or full chatbox options I get a 404 error. I assume this is because my CPMS is at the root, but my forums are at /forum ?

Any idea how I can fix this? Would creating module for it work?

If you read this thread, you'll found soulution.. This problem happened when cmps_index.php doesn't in forum folder.. so just move the cmps_index.php into the same vbulletin folder.. ^_^

Quite the excellent modification Cybernetec. And within expected parameters. Ajax is very nicely integrated.

However, the Phrase "Ask your questions in the forums. The ChatBox is for small talk"
has to be edited through the phase manager.

It would be nice for to be able to edit that particular content with the admin options. As in not to have it as a phrase, but just regular text within a template. html and BBcode enabled.
