Edit: For images you can just post the link. If you use [IMG ] tags Vbulletin will handle the image. If you paste the link or use the media tags anymedia will handle the image.

i've made several requests, so i'm assuming at this point that nothingtoxic.com doesn't allow embedding?

O yea, I looked into it and they don't have embeds. But what you can do and this worked just fine is just copy the download link they give you and post it. If you allow wm files it will play. But you have to allow all wm files for this. If you like that feature I guess I could still add them as a media site incase you don't want to allow just general posting of wm files.

How to disable auto parsing? Sorry, but I hate it.

Can you add a option in admincp to enabled/disable this option?

Why? because I want to show original link to website of video to the user like in old version of the script.

when I post the youtube links they are automatically being turned into the MEDIA tag, but for some reason the script is not handling them properly...
as instead of playing the videos, it is displaying the tag with the URL of the VIDEO

worked out after reseting all forum and all user group permissions (kind of pain in the *** to do that with 30 UG + Forums), but solved my problem

now I got this error:

Is there any way you can make the embed code automatically converted to media bbcode? Also, godtube.com doesn't seem to work right. Its shows the thumbnail, but it asks to open in a local program of choice.

For the link all you need to do is post it. It will convert it for you. So no need for the embed code. Godtube was working fine on my test site. What link where you trying to use?

I used this and it showed up as text link (vbulletin's default method)

Did you goto your usergroup permissions and set them up? They are all set to yes by default and you still have to goto at least one to rebuild permissions.

Doesn't work in Opera 9 at all. It doesn't show the videos from YouTube in the swf player, but it redirects you to YouTube instead. It doesn't even open the .wmv videos player.

YouTube videos work in Firefox. But, this version makes Firefox crash when trying to close the .wmv player after watching a .wmv video.

IE7 doesn't play .wmv clips. It opens the player, but you can't start the video.

Summary:
It's a very nice mod, but I preffer the older version. It's far from finished.

Where can I get it so I can fix all the problems that appeared after installing the new one?

Works fine in Opera 9 for me. Are you blocking javascript? Don't have ie7 to test. Firefox also works fine but that is also on a mac. I'll look into more. Of course its not close, that why its in beta ;)

I do appreciate everyone helping me work out the kinks. I still have some ideas I want to add after all the bugs are cleared up. Most of the bugs that are left are just with the js code and the media embed. I should have it fixed in the next version.

Hi nix, I just install Version: 3.1b2, and try to testing video from site megarotic, it didn't work at all. I had done for set up permissions in steps 4, 5.
4. Log into the admincp and setup AnyMedia BBCode Options (vBulletin Options -> AnyMedia BBCode Options);
5. Change the AnyMedia BBCode Permissions (Usergroup Manager -> Choose a usergroup -> AnyMedia BBCode Permissions);

what error did it give you? do you just see the link? is megarotic enabled? I have all sites like that default to no.

Ok, I noticed its with godtube.com videos that it wants to open up in a local pc software (flv). Can you work around this?

That linked worked me. Double check your settings. If you need help you can PM your details and I'll take a look.
To see the M tag you need to to the template edits. But its not needed if you're not going to use attachments. I'll make this an automated process later so no template edits are needed.

If they have no thumb either I didn't do them yet or more then likely they are near impossible to get working. If you don't see the default thumb and a red x thats different.

At the very least upload all the files and reimport the product and allow over-right. Or you can uninstall and reimport.

nix, this mod is awesome. The new feature in videos an images with the highslide yet had replace the "ncode image resizer" in my forum.
