First of all, awesome product. If I can get all my bugs worked out I will definitely be getting the pro version.
First issue is that the product doesn't seem to be parsing bbcode. It looks great in the editor: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/03/26.jpg But after hitting the upload button, I get this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/03/27.jpg My second issue is a more minor one, but when using the mirror function, if you go to edit a download that already has a mirror, for instance to add a second mirror, the first mirror link is lost. Thanks! |
Bug1: bbcodes doesn't work
Bug2: Editig a file duplicates it and posts a new file. Can you please reproduce these 2 bugs?? Is it possible to post links only to files without uploading on the main server? |
Yes you can link to files on other servers.

Just a couple of things. I just installed this on vb 4.1.2 and have the following issues:
On the individual download page under the files section. The icon image url is trying to point to icon1.gif it should be icon1.png (as of right now it is creating a broken image placeholder). Next issue is on the main download page (where it shows the categories) under statistics the collapse image url is pointing to http://cdn.dragonbyte-tech.com/image...llapse_40b.png which is creating a broken image placeholder. Shouldn't this point to an image on our own server? Third, for some reason when I try and delete a file extension within the admincp, I get an Internal Server Error and it will not allow me to delete it. |
Hey!
Just a quick note letting you know that vBDownloads has now been updated to 1.3.0. This version includes numerous bug fixes and the introduction of a screenshots features! We have also refined a number of areas of the design! We hope you enjoy this update :) - David |
Using WYSIWYG to submit a file, doesn't convert bbcodes on the description area. Please check this test file i made here:

Does this mod keep track of files downloaded from other sites (e.g. filehosting services), or do they have to be hosted on my server? I'm looking for a way to keep track of and reward users for posting links that get a lot of downloads. Is this possible using vbulletin alone?
