the new version is so much faster and more stable. i didn't realize how much it had improved until i tried the version in the app store for a day just to see how different they were. had to add the adhoc version back ASAP. hahaha

The version submitted to app store is 1.2 which contains bug fixes and major speed improvement.

The development team is working on the 1.3 version that *hopefully* can finish Private Messaging on time.

Our goal is to evetually get to the Push Notification where Private Message / Subscribed Topics push to your iPhone as soon as it is updated. But this will need more testing as it involves much more complicated setup and additional stress to our server.

We have released the vb MOD 0.9.12 as a on-going minor update. Here are some of the highlights:

- Compatible to more plugins - if you have previously disabled some plugins to make it work with Tapatalk, you can try re-enable it and see if this release help.
- Minor character encoding fixes

This is great! Glad it finally got released. I have it installed server side and the app on my iPhone now.

So far so good though, I love it! I am still finding that it's faster to surf my forum via Safari through the use of WiForums WAP software, WiFo also supports the bullet points noted above.

Once it's a bit faster and more feature rich I am sure it will be my weapon of choice!

For the speed issue you will see significant improvement in next version that is optimized for iPhone 3.0 OS!

As for Private Messaging it is in development and we feel confident that it will be in the release after. I expect later this month.

I think as far as were its available is somewhat dependent on apple, I'm hoping for Canada soon as I have a lot of vbulletin clients locally that would love this as well.
