Installed and all seems to be working.
However at the very top of the screen I have these four errors showing up. Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated in /home/content/k/2/d/k2designs/html/mytalkutah/umg_gallery/umg_actions.php on line 109 Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated in /home/content/k/2/d/k2designs/html/mytalkutah/umg_gallery/umg_actions.php on line 179 Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated in /home/content/k/2/d/k2designs/html/mytalkutah/umg_gallery/umg_actions.php on line 277 Warning: Call-time pass-by-reference has been deprecated in /home/content/k/2/d/k2designs/html/mytalkutah/umg_gallery/umg_global.php on line 72 Any ideas on how to make them go away? Thanks! |

confused, I have uploaded all the files that came with the UMG v1.4.5 Lite to there correct location and checked the permissions for each group and made sure my Admin account has all permissions but when trying to goto the umg.php all I get is Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. I have checked and all of the files are in the correct location and the Gallery active and Enable External Javascript is selected. This is a new Forum running 3.8.1 and this should be running fine. Is there another Mod I should have installed that is not in documentation?
Looks like I have found my answer after reading this post Quote:

Du you get any other error message ? Like database error eg. ? |
How do I set up public categories? I can't find a way to do this anywhere.
|
In UMG - Administration/Moderation - Kategories
or in UMG UserCP - the second Kategories. If you doesn't see it, set the permission for your Usergroup - is Admin |
Thanks. I have now created some categories and need to create a few more - however, when I click on Administration -> Categories all I get is a "Category Structure" tree - how do I return to the "create new category" page?

I'm also confused about "permissions". Here's what I have so far:
Category Structure UK Pre-Certs - Collectable Pre-Cert Scans - The Video Nasties - Tabloid Press - Video Nasty Hysteria! - UK Magazine Ads + Trade Related Scans How do I set each category for viewing by registered users and admins only? Presently these have a mixture of permissions and I'm very confused as to why this is? The area I need to select in each category I am unable to tick. |
