$awardextension appears to be blank. I don't get any file extensions for the award images.

I see that now, but it's writing to the img tag: '/images/misc/level/award_helpful', instead of '/images/misc/level/award_helpful.gif'

Uploaded ALL files to the server, espacially the PHP files?
Did you imported 3.7.12? There was an error in 3.7.11 regarding this.

LOL (feeling stupid)...my ftp program was stuck on a prompt and didn't finish uploading the new files. Once I bypassed the prompt, the files were actually uploaded this time and now everything works.

do you have the code for custom templates?

Which template? Profile, postbit, ... ?

Compare your template with the original templates and search for "$template_hook"

hmmmm okay just me being divvy - I'd put the class_xperience.php in the wrong place I think :(
