What I meant was it would be wise to prepare a forum, but keep it invisible. Then make it visible fast when the release arrives.

Although they did give anti-spam measures a bit of attention, I wish they would have gone farther and tried to incorporate something like my Akismet hack where spam could be checked against a known database. The feature cuts spam down to almost nothing on my boards. Surely this could be done better natively, instead of my hack.

Ahh well.. Maybe 4.0...

There is a lot more involved here than just creating a new forum. Since you have no idea, I suggest you keep any further sarcastic comments to yourself.
