hi i can add a new drop down menu no problem using the instructions in this thread but my question is how does one add a submenu to an already existing navbar link, specifically User CP
i want to add some links under this i.e. My Posts, My Details, My Contacts etc... |
this was really helpful, our navibar was getting seriously cluttered and thankfully we managed to group similar links together and even add more!!! :D
thanks a bunch ^_^ |
This is so valuable to know!
It works GREAT in FF, but in IE it completely fails. I'm using a somewhat custom navbar, tho, so I don't know if I've got something in the wrong place, but like I said, it works great in FF... http://www.cemagraphics.com/cmps_index.php Code:
<!-- nav buttons bar --> |
I don't know HOW I did it, but somehow it's working in IE now.
I only made a couple of seemingly unrelated changes to my navbar template: EDIT: Oops. I thought I had it, but it's not working again. This time I didn't change anything. Code:
<!-- nav buttons bar --> |
Could this be a setting in IE8 that I'm missing?
I really need to get this working so people can use my site properly... Any ideas? EDIT: It's not just my own dropdown that's not working in IE, but it's ALL of them (when I'm signed in the existing navbar shows), but there's one thing...I have the UserCP Navbar Menu mod installed, and it's the ONLY popup that's working. :erm: |
Sorry this is crap, it ++++s the the nav bar on 3.8.4 for me and it not even a drop down...
Dropdown is the ones with the Arrow next to them not a nav going down. |
Thanks so much!!

Sorry about the bump but how would I do this if I wanted to make a dropdown for Postbit?

The drop down link shows up fine in Chrome and FireFox but when I view it in IE it goes bananas. Attached image is how it shows once I click the drop down link. Why is it doing that?
Here is the code I used PHP Code:
