I wrote that quite a while ago, MonkYZ. It wasn't long after I did that some patch of vBulletin made it not work in the modules any more. Like you, I've just been using the work-around of setting it to 'below navbar', as that's more or less where I wanted it anyway. *I guess the newer vbulletin version uses png's instead of gif's? (most of it)

Well, i did nothing special. To be more precise, i did exactly your steps. For me it didn't worked because i haven't noticed the template already had "adv_portal_" so for me writing in there "adv_portal_vsa_chatbox" became something like "adv_portal_adv_portal_vsa_chatbox" :)
