Much of what I do is free for the sheer enjoyment of doing it. On the other hand, I have two kids to support, so sometimes I have to face the tough decision of moving a project from the "I love my work" column to the "gotta pay the bills" column, or else drop it. I wasn't making any assumptions about the developer (or any developer for that matter). Just putting out an idea for him/her to consider, as I would like to stay on this particular bus without moving my board and it's mods to vb4.

Just a short note: Today I installed vB4 and started the work. Till now the progress is going forward. It's just that I have to re-design around 70 templates and make the required code changes.
I expect a release of the first beta in the next 2-3 weeks.

man, i really am glad you are putting this on VB 4!! I've been waiting on the 'yet another awards system' mod to put automation to their awards, but it looks like this probably already has this ability?
I'm hoping to put many awards in the postbit. This is possible, right? And adding lots of new awards will be do-able too, right?

Might i suggest an item. Could there possibly be a mystery item you can buy? What i mean is this: say you have this mystery item in your shop. the icon maybe is a box with a ? on the side. Ok. Now, when a person purchases that mystery item, it adds to your inventory a random item from your shop. Perhaps even make it so that certain items have a better chance of getting picked than others.

A request..can you make it compatible with vB 3.8 as well. New version for vB4; so you know you won't continue to work on this version you will just continue on vB4. Thanks for your continued support.

Maybe I just don't understand you... This version is already for vB3.8 - A version for vB4 will be solely for vB4.

I've been using vbPlaza for the last few years so never really looked at this mod, but I'm finally deciding to install it on my board :).

Don't know if this has ever been mentioned, but I think it would be great to incorporate "quests" like www.thesixtyone.com does to try and get new users into exploring all the features of the site :). For example, on thesixtyone when you sign up you get little pop-ups in the corner of the window saying "Rate five songs to level up to the next ranking!" Then you can complete other tasks to earn points. Maybe you could include quests like "Vote in 2 polls" or "Add three people as your friend" :).
