I did that - however there are still parts of the chatbox in french, such as the open in new window alt tag, and the private messages to banned users

Oh then it's a bug, there might be missing phrases in the translation !

As I will do kinda full rewrite of the chatbox code for the new version, I'll check that out ;)

Ok a new problem has arrived. Almost everything works except for the ability to see the buttons. They have been installed inall parts of the image folder with no luck in seeing then. Any ideas? Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm having problems when changing a user's usergroup.

Let's say I have 2 usergroups, A and B, existing members of each usergroup can see and use the shoutbox fine. However, if I change a user from group A to group B, or vice versa, they are no longer able to see or use the shoutbox, despite having the group permissions to do so. This also occurs if I keep a member's primary group, but add addtional usergroups.

You have uploaded them in all the styles folder of your forum in the misc directory ?

Hum the first one is a strange behaviour !

Regarding the second one, does the secondary usergroups have access to the chatbox ?

I won't dig further in your problem until the release of the next version as this strange behaviors might not be present anymore so I would rather prefer you wait for the next version and confirm me of the bug disapearance.

Just as well as you didn't dig further as I figured it out, it was because of the minimum post count requirement to "use" it (I thought they'd still see it as that's a seperate option). The user met the post requirements in their original group, but not in the ones I moved them too, when adding aditional groups the higher post count must override the lower one, which must be why that didn't work either :erm:. Anyway, all sorted now :).

Out of interest, do you have an ETA for your next release?
