I've never seen that string before. Where did you pick that up? Standard embedded videos should have player_embedded after the video ID. I might be able to compensate, but I'd like to know where those particular strings are originating from.
YouTube itself had been giving me those types of URLs lately after I finished watching a video... but even more recently now I don't see the link anymore when a video finishes, just a grid of more videos.

The old embed code still displays the URL after the video. The new iframe embed doesn't, but I notice you still have the option to grab the old version if you look deep enough. Places like Facebook still use it, but I've always seen it with video_embedded after the video ID. Odd.

Does someone have a code that works for Daily Motion?

Tourmeister 11-04-2011 07:44 AM

I imported the full definition file (Master). YouTube long links work fine, but the short links won't work. I tried searching this thread for info and did not find anything. The definition for the short links is enabled. Not sure what to do?

What problems are you having with Dailymotion, specifically?

Short Links are embedding for me, but if you can post the links you tried, I can try them on my demo. Alternatively, there's a mod by BirdOPrey that converts short URLs to long ones, if that turns out to be the issue.

Howdy,

Here's one that won't convert. It just displays the link and if I click it, it does load the correct video.
