Thanks,

Couldnt get it to work properley, too many options for me.

BAsically the games of poker are on the likes of 888 and poker stars. So I dont want to intergrate with the casino hack.

I want something as simple as Icash, but no one seems to be helping out over there. And I hear its full of bugs. Myself couldnt get rid of the donate links it puts everywhere.

If someone plays my game I want them to recieve cash points whic they can spend in my shop. I would do most of it manually and just want them to earn cash for referals and playing my games.

Regards,

Mucker:confused:

I am unfamiliar with Icash, but I have seen it. I've been using vbcredits for quite some time and I agree it can be overwhelming at first. It might be best to freshly install the latest 1.4 and run with the default settings until you get use to the settings and credit system. You didn't say what you have for sale for your user credits, but I am sure it could work... except the purchase. You would need additional add-ons from Dark to get that portion going. vbcredits is one of the best mods!!! And with the best support I ever witnessed!!! :D

Well, if he already has a system which accepted Icash payments, it shouldnt be a big issue to make it use credits instead :-p and thanks for the testimonial!

Nice mod. It's install friendly for people who prefer to be lazier because thing are edited automatically. However, I think file edits should always be done manually. For example, this mod automatically added a string of code into one of the files within my admincp folder without me knowing.

There are no file edits...

what? the plugin system in vbulletin has been around for a long time - what hack ISNT using it? what "string of code" are you referring to? theres actually entire blocks of code all over the forums from vbcredits, something like 30 file edits otherwise. please explain what the problem is? :D

If editing 30 files manually is the lazy way to go about things, just shoot me when the really hard stuff starts getting posted.

I had a problem when installing this mod earlier when I was still using 3.6.8. It leaves me with a blank homepage after the install. I believe the problem lies within the automatic editing of the forum templates since I have many customized templates of my own, thus the modification was not able to overwrite it and causing the blank white forumhome.

Editing templates manually is unfortunately something I would need to do know as I have too many customized templates. From what I have learned about vbulletin is that it does not rewrite or add codes to a template if it is already customized. It will fail to insert any piece of additional code unless the template is revert.

uh, vbcredits does not automatically add any template edits. however it does support TMS, but then blank pages would be TMS's problem.

it sounds like you were missing the plugins file or you mis-applied a manual template edit. is your problem resolved? if not, come talk to me via PM and send an admin login with style perms

Please help. I installed this point system for the 3.6.9 version. Now I am upgrading to 3.7 version. What do I do.

Should I reinstall the points system for the older version first, upgrade for vBulletin to 3.7 and then reinstall the point system for the newer version.

Please help.

Thanks

You said that the mod doesn't automatically add any template edits. But what about automatic file edits?

I was hoping to resolve this without having to give anyone admin access to my site. I'll reinstall again and see what the problem is. This time it would be on 3.6.10 instead.

And what exactly is TMS?

Thanks.
