There should be not changes to your thread ratings as the mod works on an entirely different set of parameters and tables created for it.

That said, what's happening?

Thanks for prompt reply. The star ratings that are supposed to show up on the forum page next to a thread are not appearing. Thread ratings are turned on and the number of ratings required for stars to show is set to 1.

Did you make the manual template change listed in the install instructions?

I am checking. In the meantime, vBulletin support responded that the star-ratings are "not showing because your images are missing". Do you think they could have been removed when PRF was uninstalled?

The plug-in system has no access to your file structure. If you deleted them while removing other files however...

Okay, thanks for the help.

Great start, but this thing has some major issues! The main one is the editor which produces walls of text and strips out all formatting. Line breaks are a thing!

Other than that, widgets are a necessity (hopefully those are coming). Being able to choose some product description fields (books might be hardcover, softcover, PDF, for example). And 5-star rating systems are very broad.

But that wall of text is no good! It cripples the entire mod.

Bizarrely, if you edit the post afterwards, you can format it. But no user is going to do that!

Line breaks are fully supported. What are your post / html settings?

Completely! The mod is intended as a starting place and should, by all means, be customized to the unique nature of your community and the products to be reviewed on it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I've just searched the thread and saw someone else had similar formatting issues which did not get resolved. So I guess it's not a quick fix.

Full WYSIWYG is on (and also works elsewhere on the site/forum just fine). In the reviews area, though, no WYSIWIG, and all formatting and line breaks get stripped even when pasting in a formatted post from elsewhere. As mentioned, you can proceed to edit the post and get the WYSIWIG editor to appear and fix it all, but not on the initial "new review" page.
