Thank you for your continued efforts developing LDM.
I'm just starting to test LDM again with the 2.2.0 release, so I'm not sure if this has already been implemented or not, but I would like to second the request for a copy/clone category function that includes child categories. For example: Item #1 - with the following sub-categories: a) reviews b) interviews c) news could be cloned to: Item #2 a) reviews b) interviews c) news Quote:

nope lol and i noticed it doesn't work all the time....the bigger the file then it won't work lol but if i just add links or small files it works great... |
I've got everything set up, but I'm not seeing any way to upload files, I double checked both file and usage permissions, and I'm stuck.
Any advice on things to check? |
Andrew,
Just wanted to say thanks again for such a great hack with so much versatility. It's much appreciated. Ok, so I had a question now that I've complimented you. :) I noticed today that there is no variable set to disallow selection of what category a new link will be placed in. For example, if users want to add a link it's required they be in a category that accepts links. However, if they go into a category that accepts links, they can then select any available category, even if it's closed. Not only is that a fairly large bug/problem, but I was also thinking that there should be a variable to disallow_cat_selection, where if you set it to yes, then whatever category the user is in, is the category that's getting the link. If it's set to no, then the user would get the edit box that they currently get with all the categories, however, the categories that are closed would be omitted from the list. So I guess this isn't a question so much as a bug report and feature request. |

If uploads are enabled, then the 'Add Link' form will have a box on it for selecting the upload . |

have you set up a category to upload to? it won't allow you to upload from the "home" category...you need to create one.
