I record gets created BEFORE the flash loads, it's part of the new security John added, when you finish the game it will modify that particular entry. The script performs a clean up of such emty records when new ones are added.
Once you have more then 10 'real' records those empty records won't be a factor anymore on your leader board anyway. But if it really bugs you add 'AND score > 0' in both leaderboard queries.

Yeah, that's right - I didn't think it's be much of an issue seeing as most boards have a lot more than 10 high scores anyway - I've already added the 'AND score > 0' SQL as Castel suggested above in the next version.

make sure he's not playing it through the regular flashplayer hack , I know that will give that error. Ranked tetris needs to be played with john's tetris.php , not flash.php

Also, make sure you have a date field in your tetris table (in the database)

hmm thing is Mod tried it and it works ok, Admin tried it and it works ok. 2 other normal users tried it and it works ok. Only one user wasnt ok .... when he gave me his password. I logged in using my comp. It Worked. So I'm guessing it has something to do with his IE settings.......

What version of IE is his using?

It was a journal hack . With tons of features. I dont know the full details on why it wasnt released (didnt really follow the thread, but i waited) , so I'm not going to say anymore. Besides I'm making a simple Journal hack now. about 50% done. Will release it soon.

I have two users with the same problem. It only seems to happen in the upper levels. To me, this says that a cookie or a session might be timing out?

The new code isn't cookie or session dependent at all though - only the first page works with that :\

Not actually his licence system, but something similar (coded by me).

Basically, a licence is a page with loads of info about the user including pictures and bits of text that make journals more interesting :)

i have version 2.2.6 and recently when i tried to install the Store hack i got an error and had to do the entire board over. I installed the flash player with success and i wanted to add on the hack with showing a crown next to the high scorer. however when i followed the directions i got this error message:

Just a few things to make clear first (you probably already know this, just to make sure:

1. This hack has nothing to do with the Store Hack.
2. This hack has nothing to do with the Flash Player hack
3. To use the crown hack addon, you must have this hack installed (The tetris addon hack)
4. If the problem is with this hack, post it here. If the problem is with the crown hack, post it in it's own thread.

After what stage does your error occur? After you install this hack, or the crown one? If so, can you successfully install this hack?

I was able to upload the crown image. i then went to the admin/function.php and inserted the required lines and saved it. then i went to the functions.php and inserted the data that was required. i opened up the [forum/admin] and entered the password. IMMEDIATELY after that i got the above error message. and i went back and reversed everything. and now i still cant get in.www.crossova.com/talk is the site

You said in your above posts that you installed "the flash player" - that has nothing to do with this, or the King Tetris hack!

yea. i installed that. wasnt that the initial zip file within this email? i installed that. the flash player was another download that i installed earlier this week.

Sounds like an incorrect installation.

Nothing is altered in the installation, you can't have reversed it fully.

My bet if that you screwed something unrelated up when you were installing.

crossova - first off I just want to say you NEED this hack for the tetris king hack to work (goto the first post to download it).

Now with that said, I think you have made an error when installing the king hack or the "other" tetris hack because if you had installed it correctly (without this hack) then you would be getting a diffrent error.

My advice is to re-download vb, upload the functions.php file again (unedited) and see what happens?

if that works, installed THIS hack, then try to install the king hack again.

I agree, the error you are getting looks more like a bad instlation than anything else, follow my suggestion in the post above.

possibly. so will i have to do a complete re-installation of vbulletin? or will i just need a fresh copy of the ADMIN/FUNCTIONS.PHP and SHOWTHREAD.PHP

provided that admin/functions.php anbd showthread.php don't have any other hacks on them, then you can just upload fresh copies of the files and it *fingers crossed* work again.

i will let you know how it goes. *fingers AND legs crossed*
