default value should be easy, I'll have a quick look at decimal odds...

To make the "To" odds default to 1, edit the vbookie_event_outcome template, search for:

Re: decimal odds - too hard, or to be honest after a quick glance at the code there appears to be no "quick fix" and I can't be bothered putting the time in to change it :)

Hi again, back on page 40 of this thread we had a small discussion about vbookies covering their own books and it turned out that you run it this way on your board. You offered to provide some instructions but discovered some issues running it this way on 4.1.

Were you able to resolve those issues? I'd still greatly appreciate those instructions :)

I just installed this and it won't add on my postbit to any skin other than default.

Kind of silly how it is setup having to go in the plugin, is there any other way to do this or make it show up?

@mentalageof2 - Sorry, I haven't yet... Things have been pretty busy for me

@sticky - it can (at least could under 3.8) kinda be done, but punters could easily bypass by placing multiple bets. Refer to my note to mentalageof2 above

@EasyEazy - no, sorry ...

@combs - sounds like those custom styles have removed vbulletin template hooks - kind of a silly thing to do

How would I add the template hooks back to it? :( , I really like using that setup, just need to add the vcash to it!

Actually - the hooks are there on that page you linked to. Not sure why you are having issues (could be teh apostrophes around 'posts' in the line before the hook), however you can do it manually. Edit your postbit legacy, search for

    </div>
add

{vb:rawphrase vbookie_cash} : {vb:raw post.vbookie_cash}
    </div>
immediately below it. You should also disable the vBookie: Add Cash to Postbit plugin if you've manually added the template edit.

Thanks man, definitely worked. Just had to add the word "VCash" in front of the code like this

My vbookie post icon is not showing up. I am getting the dreaded red X and outline for where the image should be.

I checked the properties of the icon, and the path is correct. The image is there. However, it is not showing up.

thoughts?

vbookie_posticon.png is the image. I haven't checked any files yet. I will do that now.

since upgrading to 4.1.3 i can no longer see usergroup options for vbookie. is nobody else having this issue? i tried re-uploading the product but that didnt help.

Installed and working fine w/ 4.1.3 other than a style issue when enabling vcash in postbit -

Tried a few things to get the value aligned with vcash, any suggestions to correct this? Using default style.

It's actually an issue with the Thanks code that is causing the vCash to be out out.

The bit where is says "Thanked 11 Times in 11 Posts" is in a <dd> tag with no preceding <dt> tag. Fix that up and it should be OK. Alternatively, if you change the plugin order so that the vCash gets displayed first that should cover it up.

it did at some stage (at least the support is in there for a version of it) but there are some variables which may mess things up. However, I believe that VBCredits itself has teh facility to integrate with vBookie regardless

That's not your Home Page, it's a 404 Page not found error. You haven't uploaded the vbookie files to your forum root ...

No, it doesn't do such things. You may be able to mess around with template conditionals to achieve something

I have searched the entire thread, and read the old threads as well, and I cannot seem to figure out how to set a MAX LIMIT on wagers. We are attempting to keep our "pG Cash" small, so we want to limit the amount allowed to 500. Is this possible?

you could try this... this was for the vB 3.5 version (which worked with all 3.x versions)...

That still doesn't really help me, I know where all the bookie templates are I just don't know where to change the input text color.
