has anyone had users report of login problems recently? I'm trying to figure out what is causing this on my forums. I can't duplicate the issue.
|
Hi this is a fantastic mod. One problem though, i'm getting a blank page immediately after the facebook registration is completed. The member account is created and works fine, but this blank page is a mystery, does anyone have any ideas?
I'm using vb 3.8.4 regards |

Hi,
while updateing to the new version today I've got a parse error. It was very short to see, so I've took a pic. I can't see any problems so far but like to know whether this could be a problem. Kai |

I'm still running 2.2.5 as the new version killed my site and i can't find the option to "Enter the number of days which logs will be kept. Enter 0 to keep log permanently "...what version you talkin' about Kai?
i have 469,250 total log entries and over 31,000 pages and that seem like a lot to me... |
Sorry if this has already been asked but I am frustrated and getting tired of reading page after page...
I AM NOT USING YOUR SOLUTION... I am using FaceBook Connect and am in trouble it is not working on Firefox but working perfect fine in Google Chrome??? If I can not fix this by tomorrow, am not getting any Programmer responses since September on other solution I have to switch to another solution... Two questions: If I switch will I loose ALL customer information from the few hundred logins we currently have??? Is there a way to transfer or use the existing FB Developer codes and information using your solution???? Is there any ideas or comments you have in this situation that might be able to help me, resolve my current issue, guide me in the right direction??? Thanks in advance for your help and thank you for sticking to supporting your product that you created!~! Thanks a ton, |
any feed back on this BUMP Is the word??? Please need help!!!

Thank you for responding they still have not responded on the other threads for the actual product support! I will look at this tomorrow! THANKS!!! |
WOW WOW WOW WOW!
I am currently using FB Connect and how silly of me! I just transfered everything over to your solution and WOW WOW WOW! What a difference... This should not be called YAFB it should be called the ONE AND ONLY FACEBOOK BRIDGE! I will definetely be doing anything I can to support you and your product! TY for taking the time to make such an easy to use solution! WOW WOW WOW! Just one or two questions for you... I see where the link is suppose to be or should I say IMAGE is suppose to be... /// NEVER MIND a newb question... Guess you have to put the image / button in each skin that you have as well!!! Thanks for answering that question on to the next... Jeremiah Banister This is a test... Testing out new Yah! Another Facebook Bridge! Thanks! (AllinJac) www.allinjac.com Testing FB Connection for real this time! Here is my post... Is there anyway to configure the post? One nice feature with Facebook Connect is that it would use the 16 x 16 image you have saved in your Developer Section as well as the slitghtly larger image as well.. So this is more of a formating and looks / recognition idea Secondly... Where is says (AllinJac) where AllinJac is the NAME of the site... Is there a place to change that to say what we want to: Prefer it to say something like (The Trading Centre for +++++ Wars) Something like that... Is there a configuration to change that anywhere... Again, All due respect for not just where you are from as you stated in your text doc but your abilities as a programmer! They are definitely superior to most! Thanks!!! Jeremiah |

Hi Guys,
I've just installed this on my 3.8.4 board and have a problem. I downloaded the version from the VB4 thread (as it says to do) but have a problem. The installation went OK but i have a problem. When I logged in and went to my user CP, I then clicked on Facebook bridge options so I can connect my account. I get the message asking me to connect my account but i see no button to get the pop-up to perform the connect. Can anyone help? |

I installed this last night on my 3.8+ and I can't get passed the error 'Invalid API key specified" when I try to connect to Facebook. I know I have the right key.

Also, how does a facebook member connect to my forum now?? |
From what I have read, the coder has been ill. Wishing him well, and hopefully he will be back with the fix soon.
|
He's been online but still no word on a fix. Guess its not supported anymore.

I see there is another facebook mod "Facebook Connect - Allow your users to login with their Facebook account ", what is the difference and which one is better?
|
This one is better. I have been running it since it was released
|
someone said none of the mods works:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?p=2048962 is this true? |
Mine works, has been for months with no problems...try registering on my site with your facebook and see for yourself http://www.chattaboxforums.com
|
What makes this one better?
|
This has been installed on my site. Files are loaded on correctly, and facebook app been set up. However, as a logged in registered user, how do i link it with my fb account?
|
I think, you go to your usercp, facebook bridge options
|

The <td> element in the template "fbb_navbar_button" is not allowed for valid XHTML-code. So how can I change this template, that my site passes the W3C validator? :)
Or is it possible to include the "fbb_navbar_button" into another template? Thank you! ;) |
If you are using vB 3.8.x, use the one posted in 4.0 mods as it's wokring perfectly on 3.8.x

YAY, ANOTHER DISCUSSION I should have read the last page of first then I would have realized it was a dead modification. I see some of you caught on, but I installed this and the FB Connect mod as well only to find out the problem is on Facebooks end, right, they don't allow this anymore.
Anyway, thanks for keeping us all abreast on the tiny issue affecting this mod: http://www.google.com/search?q=faceb...cebook+connect  |
