I believe you (and Mark) are thinking about the member tracking mod, which also displayed the same visit data as this on forum home. A 4.2 version of that will be available in the next few days. Quote:

Yes, I would like to see that option back in there if possible. I kind of got used to it. ;)
|
Can you please update it to work with vb 4.2.o?

I would also be interested in that mini mod.
Our site are mostly accessed by people in the same timezone, so I prefer using the visits today rather than last 24 hours. But I also want the most ever visited line to show. |
I have some problems with this part of mod that was built in to 4.2: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=283524
Basically, I dunno how to make it work now that it wasn't updated into my skin >.< |

Her skin was missing code.. it was carried over from vb4.1.then it's also customized. It was working with no issues in the default skin thanks for your reply.. its fixed now

Hey Paul,
i have one short question - is there an easy way to do restrictions like -> Show only 4 Usergroups -> Registered, Admins, Mods, SuperMods I dont want to see there Users, if they are waiting for activation or have to activate there account with the activationlink in the email (Spammers for example) Regards, Christoph |
There is no option to do that.
|
Featurerequeeeeest :)
Thank you for your fast reply Bye |
Plz update to 4.2 . thanks
|

On vBulletin 4.2 how do you enable this feature(the one thats in the core?)
okay found the answer to that question :p Quote:

AdminCP >> Settings >> Forum Home: Visiting Members for anyone else wondering. :)

only seems to display once you have logged in? this plugin displayed event to guests / users who didn't login? |
No, it did not. This addon is called Members who have visited today. You obviously mistake it with another one of Paul's addons: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=232182

before 4.2 this plugin would display the members who have visited the forum in the last 24hrs to everyone(guest's, logged in users or not logged in users). Now since its included in the vb4.2 core it displays this only if you logg in. I want it to always display. |
Ah, sorry, I misunderstood.

(it was just the same in older versions, just controlled in options instead). |

For Unregistered / Not Logged In, (COPPA) Users Awaiting Moderation, and Users Awaiting Email Confirmation: General Permissions >> Can View the Visiting Members Display on Forum Home = Yes And if you have Guest Tracking also enabled: Guest Tracking Permissions >> Can View the Guests Visited Display = Yes Guest Tracking Permissions >> Can View Guest Visits List = Yes You should probably check these settings for your other usergroups as well. |
Is there any way to have the number of guests show on 4.2.0 in the same section that the number of members show for the last 24 hours?
As in having it say this: Total users that have visited in the last 24 hours: 169 members and XXX Guests with the guests part added on? |
Nope, this can only display visiting members, not guests.
|
Is there any similar mod that can display both members and guests active in past 24 hrs.?
|
Hello!
Try to install this on my new 4.2.0 forum, but I left the version says that is not compatible with vbulletin 4.2.0 Anyone know how I can fix? |
Why would you want to install an addon that has been included in core vB?
See first post, right at the top, in bold blue: Code:
This modification is not available for vBulletin 4.0.x |

Thanks brother jejejejje xD |
As cellarius says, its part of vB 4.2.0, you just need to turn it on in the options.
|
How can I change the time that it tracks users from 24 to 48 hours? I think it might help me in getting a better average of members. I know you say it's not an option but what would I change in the code to make it a custom time.
It's currently set as a rolling 24. It is working fine after all this time. Is all we need to do is change the $cutoff = TIMENOW - 86400; to what we want? Thanks in advance |
Never mind, it worked. Now I can adjust it as I see fit.
|
i need for 4.2

|
4.0.x ... no way of using this modifcation whatsoever? Are there any alternatives...
|
4.0.x is old, you should move to at least 4.1.x, better still, 4.2.x
|
