I love the newest update. It has all the features I required.

The donation bar is slim which was what I needed, and not too gawdy.

ok i am using vbadvanced as my home page and my index page is renamed to forums.php. I tried to enable the hack on all pages even though its not good idea for load reasons but I wanted to see about certain pages and just left the option blank but the phrase Goal amount for this month: 200 USD, Received: 0 USD (0%) (of course the 200 is just a test amount) was not viewable on the vbadvance page but on my forum home page it was. At the moment i only have the mod enabled on my forum home page so if you want me to enable it on vbadvance again let me know.

AdminCP -> VB Options -> "Cyb-PayPal Donate" and the "PM Reports" section :)

Maybe if possible a logo of paypal certified on the donation page? Some users asked me what the donates where for. It only says right now for Forum costs. But i dont see where i can change it to tell its for server cost(not webhosting, but gameserver) Maybe an option to set a custom text there by with a field in the options?

Here is the problem with the new update!

When you set your goal it is all good but as soon as you go to your front page i am use vbadvanced the goal does not dispay, like the bar is their but not the words!!!

A nother thing i noticed is when the person clicks donate and it brings you to the paypal page well at the top it tells you what you are donating for!! but i see no opion to remove the defalt and replacing with your own!

This mod truly needs more love and I have done some coding already for you just take it and do what you want with it.

Picture below is old version but shows you some of what I have done. All the boxes are customizable in ACP and can choose to have bottom block on or not. I have done a lot more to it since this but you get the idea.

The biggest thing though is the API integration are you working on this???? I need to know because I have already started and this mod with the integration would be slam dunk awesome! All the people on the old 3.5.1 vbull donation mod could move to this one.

Also the donation bar should have been integrated with sinister's mod. Looks much better and can add more then just donations to it (subscriptions and more). More customization for the user. To integrate it with your mod is as easy as $donationbar within your donation template where you want the donation bar to appear. And clicking a bubble in ACP that says integrate with CYB-Paypal. You could add this to your mod in two seconds by even putting an option to use your donation bar or sinisters bar with a bubble click in ACP.

that can pretty much all be done by simple edits to the cyb_paypal_donate template. i also added a phrase, cybpaypal_verified, and called it in the template using $vbphrase[cybpaypal_verified]. see attachment

Install with Allow Overwrite

It is not so much a template mod but user changeable in ACP. It just allows for more flavor on the home of the donations page. As I said before this is the old one new one I am finishing up with more features and more settings. API is KEY!!!!

It would be nice to have a subscription portion like in your previous version. Can you go more in-depth why you removed it?

I did not see a screen shot for this...does it add anything to the user's profile, i.e. a bar or graphic(s) that show(s) up in postbit so they stand out as elite members or something? Ideally, a different graphic for each donation level.

I also have a code to grab the users donations this month and total. Can add it to their profile or there welcome panel.

Can i request Subscriptions be added to this Mod? I really need that as an option too. So, that members can donate a specific amount and also donate monthly Subscription. - And need space to write why they should donate.

I just installed this but no donations or make a donation link shows up on my template. I switched to the original vbulletin template and the donation buttons show up in the navbar there. can someone please tell me how to make the button appear in other templates? i tried the "optional" instructions listed here but its not working. any help given really would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

ok, just installed this and it is cool! My only problem is I dont want the donation bar to be at the top of the page under the navbar. Can I put it down somewhere like at the bottom area anywhere?

It would be nice if those who donated go some kind of "points". either rep points, or (kinda like the Post Thanks Hack) a new field in the profile (and post bit) saying: "Points:"

Also, the ability to set how many points per £1 (or whatever the currency is). eg, £2.00 = 1 point etc. etc.

That way, people who donate get a little something that stand them out from the croud

Great mod, been using it for a while but just noticed something. I have set the suggested amounts but if I suggest ?x.50 then it rounds down to ?x.00 on the paypal page. Also with custom amount the same problem, you can't send ?x.50 it always gets rounded down. Any one have any ideas?:confused:

They tell me that one of the plugins on my forum is preventing "Rebuild Custom Avatars" from working and this is one of the only 3 mods I have installed.

Very nice! So far people have donated to me. There's one problem. Where it says Goal Amount, I typed it in there. Then, Next to it, it says "Received". Appearantly I don't know how to type in that.

Let's say I want $1,000 Goal Amount. And I have received $100. Where do I type in that I have received the $100? I can't find it. Thank You.

One question, why cant the members list and the donation selection be on the same page, instead of two separate pages?

Is there a way to add the drop down amount selection to the top of the members list? The lay out would be a lot nicer for the member to be able to see the list of everyone that had donated before them.

So why not combine misc.php?do=donlist and misc.php?do=donate into one page?

I'm having one problem, and that is that I can't see the donator list. I did some digging, and I found that template $cyb_paypal_list calls template $cybpaypaldonlist which doesn't exist... did I miss something here, Cyb?

It will count "received" automatically.

Did you try uninstalling and then reinstalling the mod. Also checc your settings to make sure you didn't accidently remove your permission to view the list.

Just wondering why the donated amount isn't showing up in the goal bar?

Yeah I've reinstalled twice... and the settings definitely have the list viewing set correctly.

I'd like to be able for guests to see the donation bar however I'd like for our viewers to be logged in before they can make a donation. Is this possible?

Problem is I'm getting alot of guests who hit the donate button but don't follow through with a donation so that leaves me trying to track down an IP address to see if it was a member that simply wasn't logged in.

I should have IPN integration done before the new year as time permits. Please CYB hit me up!
