It still has not reached the beta testers at this point. Normally the beta testers test it for a week to two weeks. It's going to be some time, not days probably :)
|
[high]* venomx waits for 1.5 to try this... :)[/high]
|
hello,
its perfect to merge vRewrite with vBSEO Google/Yahoo Sitemap Generator its difficult? |
It is safe just to use the default one, as any old URLs get correctly redirected. However, a fix will be released shortly, maybe with 1.5. :)
|
will the old url's still work? or does it just mask them?
Thanks clicks install - cant wait for new release. |
They'll redirect to the new ones :)
|
I just installed vRewrite but it doesnt work with our Forum. The Urls were rewriten but when i klicked on one, i only got a 404 error :( So i had to deinstall it again..

www.dsa-ring.com/vbb2
Ok i got it to work now.. almost. I forgott to change the .htaccess basedir But i have some funny probs, when i turn the rewriting on: 1. Goto newest post doesnt work any more.. It always jumps back to the Forum index 2. The Link to the Forum Index above the Navbar (when u r in a Subforum) always takes back to the index site of the complete Domain.. Instead to http://www.dsa-ring.com/vbb2 it takes to http://www.dsa-ring.com When i deactivate the SEO the URLS are still rewritten but the Errors dont occure any more.. |
I had those same problems Adromir, so i uninstalled it until it was sorted out for now
|
All will be fixed in 1.5, it's helpful to search the thread first :)
|
soon everyone soon...just trying to work out the bugs & the redirects missing.
|
You guys are awesome! :)
|
Amazingly everything works fine if u deactivate the Plugin in the ACP..
|
Obvisously, like they stated above, they are working on the fixes for the remaining issues right now :D
Good work, and cant wait ;) |
But apart from that it is a real great piece of work. I first searched for a SEO- Plugin and found vSEO but when i saw what they want for it, i nearly fell over..
|
Just installed it in my test forums...
This is a very long thread so I did not read it completly. I was wondering if it is possible to put an old style link on every page - for debug etc at the bottom of the page. --- Changing the timespan in forum does not work for me - it always shows 30 days http://url/f-small-talk-31.html/page...c-sortlastpost everything after html/ seems to be ignored... --- Next edit - ok just the daysprune gets ignored... order and sort is ok |
And another bug - is it already known?
In the memberlist I found a false link. The user with id 183 gets the link to the user with id 18 Code:
<td class="alt1Active" align="left" id="u183"> |

Can u give a hint how long it would take until 1.5 will be released?

Ok thanks.. I am eager to see the result.. And great thanks for your work!
|
And what is about the day thing?
Code:
http://url/f-small-talk-31.html/page1-daysprune365-orderdesc-sortlastpost |

Here is another one:
I have not only 'today's post' but also 'posts from the last 7 days' which results in this url Code:
http://URL/search-getdaily.html&days=7 So the getdaily should be allowed to have parameters, too... |
Quote:
Can you give me the exact steps you took to get to this link? (i.e. what you clicked, etc.) |
Followed instructions.. when I click on a thread I get this :
Code:
|
Quote:
Ahah! nevermind :D |
Quote:
The original url is Code:
http://URL/search.php?do=getdaily&days=7 The getdaily script DOES have the day parameter but I think vBulletin is not using it out of the box - so it might be no common problem - just for those who use hacks like posts of last X days/minutes/whatever So it is your decision wether to add this or not... |
Anyone have this working with vB CMPS?

As I've said, before, and before, and before, it does not matter, it gets redirected to the proper URL. |
I have installed and after 5 minutes uninstalled...
Reason: 1. goto=lastpost link on forumdisplay.php is not solved and redirects always to one old thread. Does not matter which link I clicked, redirect points the very same thread. 2. problem with ABCDEF links on members list. Well done, but I cannot afford having such problems with goto=lastpost, which is one of most clicked links on my site. Ciao |
We are fixing the final bugs. Details will be released shortly on how you can obtain vRewrite 1.5 Beta 1.
|
Oh I can't wait!! :)

vRewrite 1.5 Beta
Hello everyone, Bhuwan and I are going to release 1.5 Beta to the public, vB licensed users. If you need to post these URLs, please use [code to prevent unlicensed users from getting vRewrite. To download vRewrite 1.5 Beta: Code:
http://www.techhelpforum.com/vrewrite/vRewrite_15_beta.zip For people who have a habit of not searching the thread, any repeated questions for vRewrite, will be ignored from now on. I am getting sick and tired of taking the time to reply, when you cannot take a second to search the thread. I am still learning Mantis, and I believe you need to register. I am sorry that you need to register. But, please report bugs so we can get 1.5 stable out as soon as possible :) Code:
http://www.techhelpforum.com/vrewrite |
This is awesome!! :) Thanks guys!!
Wasn't there an issue before (with gallery, etc.) that made it so people like me (who use gallery, etc.) can't use Code:
<if condition="THIS_SCRIPT != 'index'"> <base href="$vboptions[bburl]/" /> </if> |
