It looks good, but:

- I don't get any information on the the forum-home
- if I start the bot manually, it seems to get a timeout...
- which is the right name of the channel? with # or without it?
- which is the right name of the server? I only have this: vienna.irc.at

Obviouslyits not a problem the bot being called PortalBot.. just the fact that its a feature that simply doesn't work, and many of you may wish to make it a bit more personal to you users idling in your channel?

Other than that I have it up and running smoothly on 3.5.2

I had a couple of problems getting it to work namely:
the cron job wasn't added properly by the install script.

for those with problems with the botnot entering check the cronjob.

it should have the following line:

(the script when I installed it wasn't putting that line in correctly)

I would suggest completely uninstalling the entire ircmanager and plugins first
Then reinstalling the latest version and checking the above (set as seen in the attached image)

there were major problems with the first version

I have the same problem and I could not find ANY reference to PortalBot except as default value .. I dont get it myself .. But I also asked on the vbhack-germany.com - as soon as I get an answer (if), I let you know

Bot is working fine here but i have a pass on mij irc server, how do i fill in the password?
Can not do it in vbb itself, must this be done in one of the php files?

Help! I had a previous install of this hack, but when I moved to a new server I simply copied the files to the new server and now it's not working properly. I re-uploaded all the files overwriting the previous ones, but I can't re-install the XML product file.

When I upload the xml file, vB simply hangs. At one time, the error message said I can't re-install it because the original xml file is already installed and the file cannot be overwritten. What do I do?

How else can I uninstall this hack? I tried "Uninstall" in the Plugin System > Manage Products but when I did this, all I got was a blank, white space showing only the title "Plugin System" at the top (as if the page stopped loading after the "Plugin System" title). The hack never got uninstalled. I also tried Manage Products > Edit (the hack) to delete the "uninstall code" but there's no uninstall code.

I can probably do a manual uninstall of this but please let me know if it's ok if I simply delete all files that were uploaded and tell me what to do with the product xml file (where can I find this?) and which db tables to drop, if there are any.
