For displaying the number of chatters next to your 'Chat' link in the navbar - I just added $totalchatters next to the Chat link - it only works on your home page, but it's easy and is better than nothing.

Don't use brackets or a hyphen though, as it'll just look strange on all other pages.

Just thought I'd mention it.

If you want to display the current users on the navagation bar (on nearly every page, not just the forum home)

Change the Hook Location of the second instant to "global_start"
in that same instant change ['FORUMHOME'] to ['navbar']

then add the template chatters code to the navbar template

My "who's in chat" on the right column is missing for some reason.

How do I correct this? I'm on 3.51 with latest flash chat.

I have $chatwho in the field so it should work. This happened last time and somehow fixed itself (go figure).

Paul -- The other left-hand icons in the What's Going On have "tooltips" resulting from alt-tags on their images, so in who-is-chatting.xml (in 4.11 this is inside the hyperlink you added to jump to flashchat, so...):

They probably need alt and title tags, maybe in 4.12 ...... :)

The right side column on forum home...it is not listing who's in chat like it should.

Sorry, but it is now clear from your PM's and logging into your site that you are referring to something totally unrealted to this hack that you have added to your side column. This hack displays in the "What's Going On" section at the bottom of the ForumHome page and is working fine.

Using the Left column hack, can I put the FlashChat module in the left column? What code block/var do I need to use?
