I got the same exact thing so I e-mailed Brad and he said he didn't know what was wrong... sigh........

On a whim, I just deleted $imagehw = GetImageSize($thephoto); from the functions.php (part of the hack) and reloaded it, and it removed the error, and the popup still works :)

I get this when trying to view the install instructions:
Changes to admin/index.php: find: <center><a href="index.php?s=<?php echo $session[sessionhash]; ?>&action=home"> Control Panel Home </a></center> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="5" id="navtable"> <tr><td><hr></td></tr> Immediately below the last line from above, paste the following: <tr><td> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="2" id="navtable"> <br> <b>Fatal error</b>: Call to unsupported or undefined function makenavselect() in <b>/usr/www/users/gandalf/starwarsguide.com/vbportal/forums/filechanges.html</b> on line <b>51</b><br> and that's it. My guess is because of the new changes in 2.2.0... |
$imagehw = GetImageSize($thephoto);
that line and two other lines, are the one that gets the size of the image. With that it is what makes the popup window resize to fit the image, instead of being a default size. and SirSteve I don't know what you did on your last post.. cause you should have the filechanges file on your hard drive to look at, not on your website. Cause you should only need to look at that once, and why are you looking at that.. for the postbit addon. |
It wouldn't get my image size though, just the error message. Should the code be different to achieve this?
Or could it be a permissions error since it says it cant 'read' it? Just guessing at that. The photos loaded set themselves at 600. I dont have a clue if this matters. |

Regarding the $imagehw = GetImageSize($thephoto); in the postbit-addon hack, I put it back in to try to get it to work because the thumbnails sucked.
When I originally loaded this hack, I received the error at the top of the page: Warning: getimagesize: Unable to open 'http://www.thingsarentwhattheyseem.com/vb/images/uploaded/1_photo.jpg' for reading. in /home/thingsar/public_html/vb/admin/functions.php on line 212 Then it worked for the day (not sure why), I showed it off to friends. But just now, it's doing it again, and I haven't changed it anymore. I found an interesting site that examined why GetImageSize doesn't always work. There are several workarounds but I don't know how to make them work here, if they even will in this situation. Maybe someone that knows what they are doing could take a look when you get a chance? http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.getimagesize.php |
Just make your pop-up window the same size as your max allowed image size...
|
Well thank you, SirSteve :) I'm well known for making this much more complicated than they have to be. I have altered the height/width accordingly and now it's all safe to release, thanks :)
