So I guess that's long sense been fixed? It works fine for me. I use it to stick a summary post
in as the second post in a thread.

Scary how powerful it is, though. As I only need in on occasion, I'm thinking about leaving it disabled until I do.

Hi All:

I am running vB 4.2 and just installed this great "product" and am having difficulty with the following:

1. Finding where to enable it for a user group
2. Seeing it actually work.

I simply installed in the product section so is there something else I am supposed to do to activate/use this? Also, we are using the forum functionality of vB only and the need for this tool is to be able to manually migrate some threads/post from another forum while logged in as one user, then change author/date to reflect original (migrated) posts.

Unfortunately, ImPex would not work for my application.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

yes.
under admincp > settings you select "Change author and date" and there you choose which user groups by click and hold ctrl.
and then you see it in advanded editor. you'll see it for sure ;)

Is there a way to tell if a usergroup has permissions to use it or not?
