Simply, choose Categories - click on the category you will delete (edit) - mark the checkbox delete
and send the form.

Will this allow my users to upload their own pictures to their own gallery and allow users to actually have their own gallery? As well as video uploads.

Yes of course - it's a gallery.
Different to other galleries:
Users can create their own categories (with permission) - that's a "private" gallery.
If you allow the usergroup to upload videos - they have permission

I have it installed, I can view the gallery, but the "Admin" tab that's supposed to be next to the search tab is not there. I'm an admin, I have the gallery permissions set in admin cp to create new categories but I can't create them. Neither can the mods. I've tried uninstalling the product, delete all files server-side pertaining to the product, re-upload all files again, and then re-install the product with no success in creating a new category in the gallery. Thanks for taking the time for making this hack possible, and for any help you can provide me.
