You guys are just going to have to hang tight for a little longer. I am currently working on another calendar modification that is more important/useful for my own forums. I no longer use the Event Forums on my own forum because I've had problems with it since 3.7.

And let's be clear, this integration modification is not a full product on its own. It's just a bridge from my on RSVP mod to the Event Forums. It's but one feature of the RSVP mod that hasn't been updated to work with later versions of vBulletin. I can't just hand over one small part to another developer. I'd have to hand over the entire RSVP mod -- which is otherwise working except with the long abandoned Event Forums.

Fair enough, thanks for the reply. Maybe the other guy could release the changes required to make it all work together only and not an entire product?

In either case, what do you use instead of the Event Forums? Or is this part of the project you are working on for yourself? If so, do you plan on releasing that?

I am currently working on creating a social group calendar modification. It's actually very close. I expect to be able to release a beta version of it here very soon. Although it isn't specifically integrated with the RSVP mod, it plays nice with it, which will allow your members to have social group events that only their members can RSVP for. :)

Farcaster, I've been looking at you Social Group Calendars. Is that the mod you mentioned on here ?

Sorry if may sounds a neverending history here but Event Forum is missed a lot for 3.8 users.

Arguments removed.

Please take them to PM or another site, not vb.org. Any more will see infractions being given.

Sorry if I am asking a very obvious question, but I am using VB 3.7.4 and I installed Farcaster's Event Attendance v2, Version: 2.0.1 (upgraded from version 1.1.1 I think) and we already have Farcaster's Event Attendance & vb Event Forums Integration, Version: 1.1.0.

Question:
I can see the "Yes, No and Maybe" bullets and comments section in the event related thread but it just doesn't take a response. From what I understand, the "event attendance and event forums integration" add-on is not updated yet to be compatible with verison 2.0.1 of Event Attendance plug-in. Do u think this is the problem why users are not able to RSVP to events? If so, is there a solution to this? Thanks a lot!

Alright so like many of you...my forum was crippled from this not working on 3.7.2

So here is what I did and it seems to be working just fine.

1) Install vb Event Forums v3.3
2) Link all forums to calendars; BEFORE you install the other two products.
3) Install Event Attendance v1.2.2
4) Install Add-On v1.1.1

If you did these exact steps and it still doesn't work then I dunno what to tell you...

good luck and hopefully there is a legit upgrade soon!

not sure if anyone is interested;

I have this working on 3.8.1

Those of you who think it ISNT working, I thought that too, when viewing events already created.

HOWEVER, when I create a NEW event, the RSVP form shows, and it works fully, I have tested this by changine RSVP status, adding replies, getting others to RSVP also.

I am using the versions listed above.

This worked for me as well.

hmmm....so this is working with 3.8.x? I am thinking about upgrading to the more recent version, but if this mod doesn't work outside of 3.6.x then i can't upgrade since this is the most useful modification on vbb i have installed....
