I haven't been following, but all my banners are the exact size I make them. Aren't yours?

Yes... 468x60 but there is no width and height in the <IMG> tag...

HTML Code:

<img src="http://forumimages.mopar1973man.com/ad-banners/rockauto.jpg" border="0" alt="RockAuto" /></a>
So how do I add the width and height to the IMG tags?

Because I would like to improve my Y-Slow scores more...

Who cares. Don't obsess over the little things. They'll be served from the cache anyway if you have a cdn (e.g. Cloudflare).

Am i able to add in a static banner on a chosen page? Sponsored by a company so only want their banner up on that part of the forum.
I have added a banner to the standard advertising part of VB4 with the HTML of
HTML Code:

<div align="center"><!--vbbanners:6--></div>
.
I would like it to display only banner number 6 on that part of the forum. So for it to stop rotating untill they go to another part of the forum.

It doesnt seem to stop though...

I have added this feature request to the wish list. At the next review I'll add width and height to the IMG tag, if the given values are > 0.

Beyond standard places for vB4, you need also to select a forum section for the single banner.

The locations are not banner numbers. The banner locations are places where you want to rotate one or more banners. In most configurations you will use only location 0 for all imaginable rotating advertising over and over again, and just fill the database with banners at location 0 with filters, such as forum sections, user groups, date and time, or no filters at all.

Many thanks for your reply.
So with your system, Is there a way to have it normally rolling but when a user gets to a certain part of the forum, Only the 1 banner is shown, Not rotating?

The system itself is always rotating, but if you have only one banner for a single situation, only one banner is rotated, thus appears to be static.

In a typical situation you'll have for example a banner on the right of the logo, shown to all visitors, and section specific banners show below the menues. For this scenario you would use location 0 for the header and location 1 for ad_below_navbar. Location 0 banners are many and have no section specific restrictions, while location 1 banners have the sections selected where they may appear. Thus, all sections which have a location 1 banner will show one, the others not, while in the header always be a banner no matter what (unless there is no one in the database).
