This version doesn't seem to be able to add link to the navbar or quicklinks in vBulletin 4.2. otherwise it seems to function

i hear that in Vbulletin 4.2 we can manually add link to navbar without any add-one
if its true then "Easy Forms" work in Vbulletin 4.2 yes?
anyone else test it on 4.2 ?

In 3.8 I was able to use conditionals in certain forums based on the forumid to change the URL of the new thread button. I've tried to rewrite the conditionals for vb 4.2 and just doesn't seem to work, any thoughts?

Code:

<vb:if condition="$show['newthreadlink']">
<vb:if condition="$foruminfo['forumid'] == 70"><a href="/forums/forms.php?do=form&fid=1" class="newcontent_textcontrol" id="newthreadlink_top"><span>+</span> {vb:rawphrase post_new_thread}</a>
<vb: else />
<a href="{vb:raw $vboptions.vbforum_url}{vb:if "$vboptions['vbforum_url']", '/', ''}newthread.php?{vb:raw session.sessionurl}do=newthread&amp;f={vb:raw foruminfo.forumid}" rel="nofollow" class="newcontent_textcontrol" id="newthreadlink_top"><span>+</span> {vb:rawphrase post_new_thread}</a></vb:if></vb:if>

I go to the forum with the forumid of 70 and the new thread button does not go to the form but the regular new post form.

Thoughts?

I have it in vb 4.2 and use the Navigation Enhancement Manager and was able to post the form navigation as a main tab with sub links and menus for other menus.

Can you explain how you did this?

I see the Navigation Manager in the Settings window. I see the Add Tab icon at the bottom. It will try to add it as a main tab, I would like to add this as a sub ling under Forums.

It would be nice if the settings window had options to where you want this link to be displayed.

Just read my settings:

Auto insert link to form list in navbar? Yes

Auto insert link to Form List in quick links? Yes

That is where I would like my Forms list link to be displayed.

My main nav with sub nav: http://gyazo.com/2eff0a7f3ac59cea45ab193fa1795564

Settings for the main tab: http://gyazo.com/41639cfc27eddde0f3a663ceff8819e0

Tab(s) Scripts is set to "forms" so it recognizes when people are on this tab and the sub menus and links show up.

Hello,

I installed version 4.2.0 and I don't see 'Create a form " on the navbar. I réuploadé but still nothing. Since Vbulletin 4.2.0, 'Create a form " disappeared from the navbar and does not want to reinstall

Could you do an update please?

Thanks for the screenshots, by your method I have it on the main nav bar, I would like to put it on the Forum / Quick Links if possible.

Ok, figured it out. "Add Tab" meant just that. I went to the "Quick Links" menu and click "Add Link" and viola - I have it where I want it.

Just wanted to post my results...
