The latest version of Gold solves this issue. I can now store CSS as a file.

Thanks for finally sorting it out, it was the only thing that I hated about this mod.

I don't discorage people from getting the gold but the free version also supports storing css as files.

Yup fully agree, however, we needed the features of Gold, plus the unbranding ;)

However, today is the first time that we have been able to properly use the store CSS as a file for months.

There seems to be an issue that for a few seconds on page load, when a user has the sidebar set to collapse, there is a big strip where the sidebar is supposed to be until the page resizes to full size. It's a bit ugly and members are complaining about it. Does anyone have any ideas what causes it or how it can be fixed?

Is there a way to not load the contents of the sidebar if it's collapsed? Perhaps a variable that I could do an if then statement on.

My concern is that if I run google ads in the sidebar and a user collapses it then I'll be running adsense ads that are hidden, and get my account banned.

You can force it not to collapse at all.

Sure, but that wouldn't be cool. I'd like to be able to collapse the sidebar, but don't want to risk getting kicked out of adsense. I looked at the demo site http://last24tech.com/forum.php and when the sidebar is collapsed the google ads still appear to be displayed (when viewing the source code).

It would be nice to add a simple "if collapsed do nothing, else show google ads" to the template.

Well, this would be nice to do to the entire sidebar so that there isn't the loading issue I'm having either, and it will cut down on page load too.
