Can we please get the eBay definition working with the Rewrite eBay links hack by Dismounted. That or find a way to add the eBay affiliate number to the eBay definitions.

I just updated this mod and it completely trashed my affiliate links. I had to remove the eBay definitions and exclude AME from the forums I use to post my affiliate links.

Im sure many others would love this integration. And thanks for this mod Ive been using AME since it came out.

You should only need to disable or delete the definition. Shouldn't have any affect on older links once removed. But yes, you always need to check for conflicts when two products are doing link rewrites.

I didn't do a lot with the eBay definitions only because I wasn't quite catching on to what an affiliated link would look like. If you can send me about a dozen samples of what affiliate links look like, I might be able to work something out.

I will try to do a definitions set for AME 3, but I'm not sure it will be worth the effort, as currently AME 3 doesn't seem to be working with new definitions. My goal is to rewrite AME 3 at some point in the future. And by "rewrite", that means just do what The Geek did and pretend I did it, too. =/

I believe you want to ask this in the AME 3 section. This is the AME 2.5 definitions thread.


It means you already have a YouTube definition that you need to get rid of, or untick the one you're trying to import for exclusion. Mine's more current, so you may want to backup the old one and delete it for the time being.

JustinTV code worked to embed, but the 'live' channel here....

....does not allow to play the 'replay' of the live event. But, when you go to the link it does. Is that something that can be fixed?

I figured it out, its set up to only play trailers, etc. NOT player highlight vids.
Any way to make it work with the player/game highlights.?

Can we update this safely without the youtube problem coming back again?

Any chance we could have a definition to allow us to embed a twitter search box in a post. odd request I know, but i think being able to include tweets in a post could be seriously helpful.
