MrZero, sounds like you are more than aware of the tournament issues, lol.

My members are actually playing a little arcade Olympics on my forums and we've had all kinds of small quirks happening where it doesn't advance one of the winners to the next round, advances the same person to both positions of the final round matchup, etc....

Can't wait for an update. Thanks for all the hard work you put into this. It's definitely appreciated.

It will automatically make sure that you never get logged out while playing...

Any chance that vbBux will be incorporated to work with the arcade in the next release?

I'm on the same level...

People on the matches get to the wrong next phase, sometimes they don't even get thru, etc...

Also, additionally, some scores are being recorded to the wrong games score tables and this is VERY frustrating.

For example the high score average of Smaugs treasure is around 6000-7000 points... someone just recorded a 25000 points on its scoretable... obviously messing everything.

Where are the highest scores ever stored? I need to remove some!

Thanks!

In regard to removing a single score, you can do it through ACP, or, even easier, through the "Arcade ModCP" in the arcade itelf
Then, select "Scores" from the "Scores Central" page:

Then choose the game or games you want to remove the offending scores from:
The results will list the score or scores you can place a checkmark next to that you want to remove (I don't have any scores in this screenie):
The "cross-posting" of scores is a known issue, and occurs when the end-user has two different games open that both have the same name of the score submittal variable, and MrZeropage is aware of it. He says it is addressed in the next release, v2.5.5+, but he needs some guinea pigs who have experienced this anomaly to make sure it is fixed.

In regards to the tournament issue, MrZeropage is aware of this as well. Unfortunately, he "inherited" this part of code from the original coder (Chris Kelly), and it was buggy to begin with, unless someone wants to step up to the plate, and perhaps help with a new tournament system [WISH]up to 64 players in a "bracket" formation :p[/WISH], it may be a bit before this is rectified...

hi!

I'd like to remove the BEST SCORE EVER from a game, not a single score from the score board... Is it done the same way you explained?

MrZeropage 03-10-2006 06:41 AM

Cross-Posting of Scores is fixed for 2.5.5+ but still has to be verified, I called for somebody to test that on my testforum but nobody sent PM for that :surprised:

There also is a "rebuild best scores ever" in v2.5.5+ but I will look for an option to even clear that scores

Tournament-Fixes are done and now being tested, looks very good at all that this is real amazing now

Does this come with games installed already?

I have decided to install an arcade and not sure which one to use.
