The sidebar is making my site load extremely slow. All other uploading of my site ceases until the sidebar has completed, is there a way to speed up its processing or force the sidebar to load at the end and not really be considered in my page load time?

The load speed depends on what type of blocks you'r using and how many. Also try to set onload option to No from the mod options

Yes!!!! This does fix it!

My question now is whether choosing "no" for storing CSS Stylesheets as files will have a negative affect on load times and my forum performance?

But this is a bug in the standard version you can overcome this by forcing sidebar to always open from mod options.

We don't want it forced open, we want the users to be able to close it.

This due to the changes taken in sidebar.js file for vb 4.1.11 and above it is nobody fault.

oh, are you going to update the mod then?
I saw in another post that your "gold" mod ($29) has this fix, is this correct?

The Gold had similar issue and been updated and fixed.

I see a problem with the hidden text link you have to your site, from an seo standpoint it could hurts stie linking to an irrelevant site, and also gray text like that could be seen as hidden text and get a google penalty
