This is weird. I got it working, sort of.

I put a $GAB_ads[0] in showthread and forumdisply, but it only shows up in the very first forum on our site (forum id=2). It shows in both forumdisplay and showthread as expected. However in all the other forums, nothing.

Ideas? I'm stumped?!?!

Id put $GAB_ads[0] in your header or navbar template... something thats global. Then make sure that all scripts are set to use the master script config.
Then you need to make sure that the banner is set to show in all forums.

Hey I have tried to install this hack like three times already. I know you are aware of an issue where some users are unable to get to anything on the control panel. My site is www.underlabstudios.com . It is an artist community site. In it I have installed an arcade (ibarcade, photopost gallery, vb journal, gblink, vba, and Battle Rap System. ) Is it possible that any of these are conflicting with your hack? I just dont understand why I get this white screen, and I find others have had the problem, but no resoultion has been posted. Can you help me please?

If I understand correctly - you want to provide banners on a maximum impression/clickthru rate (ie. they but 1000 clicks and then it stops showing) - yes.

However this version is not for vb3.5 - the vb3.5 version will not be released on vbulletin.org

Yes, That's correct. I'd like them to be able to use a paid subscriptions like checkout feature and then they get X number of click credits for all their banners.

It looks excellent but I have a question. Would it be possible to force the user to click on the banner? I mean, if he doesnt click at least once a day or everytime he makes a connection, he wouldn?t be able to see the forums or the specified message...

Currently, there is no public display for people to view statistics. This feature will be added in another module in the pipeline.

Luc, you need to add the scriptnames in the scripts section.
ie vbacmps is vba_index (if I remember right)
To get the scriptname, open up the PHP page... its toward the top.

What ver of Vbull is this ment for? I'm over here trying to install it with no luck. Everytime I run the install, I just get a blank screen. The folders have the right permissions, and the files are in the correct areas. Any ideas?

Before I ask for help :) are the click stats supposed to work? I have setup the cron job, enabled click counting, etc. but not getting any click counts.

For some reason the clicks are not being tracked.... impressions seems to work fine but on image ads the clicks are not being recorded. Any ideas?

BTW: THis project has been ported to vb3.5.x however it isnt availible here as its a commercial script.

Yes they are in a category with image tracking turned on, the impressions are recorded just fine but the clicks don't track. I went back and made sure both impression tracking and click tracking were turned on, and I also tried setting up a test category with full tracking and the same result, only impressions were tracked for image items. Not sure where to look to see what is causing the problem.


I'm still on VB 3.0.9.....as a few hacks I have installed are not yet available for VB 3.5. Once they become available I will be updating, but for now I'm sticking with the older version.

I installed GAB on my forum, it all works fine but i have also cmps installed and i would like to view banners on my portal page.
Is it possible to do that, if so what do i have to change ?
