Well i wish i could get this to work :(
nothing happens no error message and no tweet.

i have everything done correct and i have checked to make sure i have
cURL with OpenSSL compiled into your php
JSON support compiled into your php
which i do and nothing, so any help would be great

Time to repeat an old feature request: Facebook integration.

I've used a couple different solutions - one stopped working suddenly for no apparent reason, and the other was like rocket science to set up and takes 5-6 hours for posts to appear.

Installed it all and seems like there is no life on twitter. I posted a test thread and see nothing.

Any help on this or any way to test it?

I don't understand the question. You can't Tweet from the editor; you have to post first. What would be the point?

I found after install the hack that in Arabic VB when the title is English it sends to twitter but if the title is Arabic it doesn't .
Do you have any solution?

Just installed this great mod and everything is working on my forums end however the thread is not posting to my twitter account? Twitter is not allowing me to change the Read and Write feature, it goes right back to read only after saving?

Also what should go in the callback url field?

Many users create new threads on my forum but the mod only tweet a few. Why this? for example, in the last hour, people have created 6 new threads.

You must have some forums excluded? Check your settings.

Tried a different shortener, or none at all for testing? I dunno; in 4.2 I've got a couple private forums excluded, but otherwise everything seems to be okay via is.gd.

What's the Twitter link? Could you just have some of these filtered out of your twitter app?

Yes it does. This mod has little to do with vb versions, so unless some major internal change is made this should keep working. Works fine here in 4.2.0.

I have the same problem. Did you solve it?

I am with 4.1.9. I dont know the reason that makes one thread goes to twitter or not, but i miss a lot of threads going to twitter, and i dont know why.

I think i discover the reason why dont post so many threads to twitter: the characters. My forum is spanish, so most of them have ´in their titles, so it seems that it's the reason. Any idea of a solution?

Good point, at least for the non-English forums. The obvious first troubleshooting question: Can you tweet the exact same characters manually? What is the exact URL you connect to to do this?

I would assume so, but the author may have a difficult time reproducing the error himself if his is an English forum.

I've been having some issue with this, from when I have moved host, I have the required things installed for this mod to work , and tried to debug but when I debug I get a null error at the top of the site any solutions to this ?

There are only two things I can think of, you have either not done Step 5 of the install instructions or this hacks code has been altered in some way to prevent hash tags from being added.

I'm still getting null when I'm trying to see what the issue is with this mod, can anyone see a problem with my twitter settings.

I've recreated a new application, but it seems to not work any longer it did when I first Installed it, then moved host then it stopped.

If all it took was a move to a new host to stop it, I would first suspect some server security settings blocking things. If it's a shared server - or maybe even a vps - try contacting support. If it's your own server, try checking your security settings.

Also, don't use any shortening when testing.

I've testing over and over again with firewall off, mod security etc etc all I'm seeing in the error logs are

[30-Aug-2012 12:29:41] CSRF state token does not match one provided.
[30-Aug-2012 12:42:42] CSRF state token does not match one provided.
[30-Aug-2012 12:54:55] CSRF state token does not match one provided.

I know it tries to connect with twitter as I tried the old user & password authentication to post to twitter which it would not allow for the obvious reasons, so I'm not being blocked
I'm just out of Ideas now
