ps. is there a way to add a item -say Wordpress blog- and have it show while the top part of vB stays, this part should stay:

http://cl.ly/c3082dc7350001d08fb1

and where normally the forum is i want the blog, possible ?

NJMane 06-23-2010 08:48 PM

Nice Mod but will not use it since your put a copyright on it. I dont need any extra crap at the bottom of my website. Lose the copyright and you will get another install.

drayim 06-24-2010 12:15 AM

vbseo url tab

ArchAngelz 06-24-2010 10:09 AM

You'll need someone to custom integrate that for you; this mod just adds tabs.

might just do what i did before... create a top menu bar so to speak that's static.. tks.

SnitchSeeker 06-24-2010 07:23 PM

Ji Johnnyf, nice to see you're back supporting the mod!

I have a few sub-forums which I want to give their own tab. When these forums are active, I want the tab highlighted, and NOT the forum tab. Do you know if this is possible? So far, I can't figure out how.

PS. I am also using VBSEO, so the URL's are a bit different from default vb.

Zombo 06-26-2010 05:31 PM

hi, can you fix the way the tabs wrap? they go under the search box and covers the tab sub links.

Ya ... love this mod but this is a definite problem,

Along with the drop-downs being way too wide in Internet Explorer (entire width of window).

emath 06-28-2010 12:54 PM

works with vb4.0.4 ?

boo0m 06-29-2010 11:58 PM

Wow, very good hack.
Just one question, does this work with the vBulletin Forum suite or do you need the whole vBulletin CMS suite?

StarBuG 07-02-2010 11:21 AM

Hi

will it be possible to have menu tabs with drop down links be set to active?

I use one menu tab for search queries like whats new or show threads with 0 replies.

It would be nice to have the menu tab active when a link from this menu tab is clicked.

Any chance this can be done?

I recently ran updates to vBulletin 4.0.2 Patch Level 4 - and now "Tabs vbSoporte" menu in AdminCP is no longer there? Is there a way to fix this without reinstalling or downloading it again? My custom tabs are still there though. I just want to add a new tab, otherwise I would have never noticed it's missing.

StarBuG 07-02-2010 08:40 PM

upload the file includes/xml/cpnav_evbs_sstab.xml again

I've got an odd problem. I added a dropdown, and now I'm encountering problem.

When I select the tab, the tab doesn't behave like the others, in terms of when it is highlighted, it just turns the text black, without any corresponding change to the tab color, as in the others.

I've attached a screenshot to demonstrate.

Rebuild bitfileds with this URL

Thank you SO MUCH. I absolutely love this mod. I wish VB would have added some sort of tab manager in the acp of the software.

DAMINK 07-05-2010 08:45 AM

Excelent Mod. Thankyou so much sir. Very much appreciated.
Flawless stuff. And a link back option too. Thats great.

mbriggs 07-07-2010 03:49 AM

Great add-on. However, is it possible to create a drop-down menu inside a drop-down menu? I need to create a few multi-level tabs for my site.

Is it possible?

35mm 07-08-2010 09:30 PM

doesn't seem to work in vb 4.0.4. In admin, the new menu is broken, and not displaying links properly, and the config link sends me to vb's options page. The other links produce db errors. It would seem it's not creating the db table.

Very strange. I downloaded v204a to install on vb4.0.4. Your script requires a custom db table, but there is nothing in the script to create the table. What gives?

Works fine for me on a new install of 4.0.4

cmiller1014 07-09-2010 12:05 AM

Only issue I see is the style doesn't really work well. A tab has a text change when hovered over, but the entire button doesn't change. If the button is at the far right, its far right edge is black instead of white. It just doesn't match well.

This is all on a default VB4 style.

DAMINK 07-09-2010 08:09 AM

Yep i am running 4.0.4 also and have no problems with it at all.
Not sure why others would be actually. But i can confirm as cmiller1014 did that it works fine in latest.

35mm 07-09-2010 12:57 PM

Did you guys have to do anything to create the db table for it?

35mm 07-09-2010 01:38 PM

ok I'm a cock! I imported it as a style :o

Great mod ... but two BIG oustanding issues which no one here seems to be pointing out:

Both involve Internet Explorer (and before you say it ... "we don't use Internet Explorer" ... it's not about "us" ... it's about the users out there that might be using it).

Anyway ...

(1) In Internet Explorer, the width of the drop-down expands to the width of the browser window. This does not seem to be a problem in Firefox.

(2) In both Internet Explorer and Firefox ... the dropdowns will get hidden behind some objects, like some widgets.

ArchAngelz 07-10-2010 08:14 AM

Actually the IE problem width drop down problem has been highlighted by quote a few people in this thread already.

session-one 07-10-2010 09:03 AM

how do i get all my old default tabs to stop showing? these are getting added but the old ones remain

choitz 07-14-2010 06:57 PM

Now that there's this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=228507
But tht's also because sublinks aren't an issue for me.

ArchAngelz 07-16-2010 02:52 AM

That mod is not able to create tab-lists dropdowns right?

Need the help.

mgcom 07-17-2010 08:45 AM

i have this installed on 3 forums and on the 3 of them when i click the home tab (which was created with this mod) the forum tab always remains highlighted

Astyanax 07-17-2010 10:31 AM

Creating tabs with this MOD is fantastic, but then what? What about the content in each tab? How do I create that?

SnitchSeeker 07-18-2010 04:52 PM

Yeah, I see that IE7 has problems but IE8 fixes them. I'm not going to be bothered by it because only 5% of my users use IE7 and I don't mind if they upgrade.
If I get real bored I will find a fix as I'm sure it's no more difficult than adding a IE hack in the CSS.
EDIT: It looks like it may be related to the rollup css which has this declaration:
Code:

.navtabs ul {
border-top:1px solid #6C5A39;
left:0;
margin-right:-80px;
position:absolute;
top:26px;
width:100%;
}

You will have to override the width to something like 200px. Maybe you should add it to the element's "style" attribute (the UL), and if that doesn't work add "!important" after it.
Hope that helps.

SnitchSeeker 07-18-2010 05:15 PM

Johnnyf, you may recall I paid you $20 to get some requested features into this plugin. Well, I feel kinda ripped off because you are IGNORING ME!!!

I posted a question way back on page 8 or so of this thread, about highlighting.

On this page, farther up, I asked another.

Could you PLEASE answer my questions???

I'm not sure how many donation you get but I imagine it's not as many as you deserve. I would think the few (including myself) who pay for our plugins/addons would get special treatment. I am willing to pay even more if this thing would only work!

One last request I have is that the dropdowns go more than one level deep.

Like this: http://www.lisisoft.com/imglisi/14/J...4itbn_shot.gif

Please respond. Thank you!

This is just what i needed, but there is only one little problem.
After installation in my AdminCp there is no "Tabs vbSoporte," only in Settings/Tabs add system for vBulletin 4 by vbSoporte/...

apokphp 07-19-2010 08:42 PM

Could this be used as an alternative to the Register link?

That is, for non-registered members...they would see a Register tab...for those not logged in, they wouldn't?
