For some reason I can not add an event. Do any of you have any ideas?

Maybe i missed this, but is this working on 3.8.x? I have it currently running from the 3.5 version but would like to upgrade if necessary.

EDIT : To create a new vBookie Event, simply add a new thread as normal, and select the 'Post a vBookie Event' checkbox on the Post New Thread page. You can add some detailed explanations of the event you're offering and the various outcomes in the thread Message, then press Submit New Thread. This will post the thread and then take you to the vBookie New Event page.

Hey all. I just had a request, not sure if it's possible, but how do I add a comma separator to the vccash balance in the postbit?

ex: instead of "vcash: 1555000" it shows as "vcash: 155,500"

No idea - and no one else has reported the issue in this or previous versions. From memory, you use a 3rd party cash system. Are you able to use the in built one?

Once the winner is known how do you tell vbookie so it can payout

Just curious as i ahve one to payout on tuesday lol or does something come up telling you to add the winner so it can then pay out ?

After the event has closed and the "payout after " time has elapsed, look back in the event thread and it will tell you its time to settle

You go to teh vbookie thead and check the "winner" checkbox

OK im having an issue i had with my arcade too, but there was a .php file i was able to edit to fix this called something like arcade_skins.php w/e .... anyway this one skin is the only one i have this issues with heres pictures im not sure if it has anything to do with the way the skin has like 2 inch space on left & right cause of the blue n the other skins i have dont have this so it works well with those , if you can help me please do

Yours "seems" to be working fine. So I assume porting it to 3.8 would make things work fine, if this one is working fine.

MY ISSUE WAS FIXED , my problem was it was only showing on one far left onof my screen. thats because i had to adjust a the padding issue . this TP im using uses padding on the left and right cause of a blue image that runs down the sides to it was causing me issues but once i adjusted the padding it strecthed out , i had alot of help from birdprey5 i will ask him again tomorrow where was the TP edit he made . as for the mod working the wsa its suppose to YES it works fine on 4.1 patch 2 and even now on my updated 4.1.1 hope this helps . im a noob , so dont laugh lol

Yes - the tweaks are in that thread, I've already read that thread myself and based on what I read I got it working successfully on my live 3.8 site. I then planned on upgrading my site to 4.0 and updated the templates etc for this to work and shared that work here. I am however yet to actually upgrade to 4.x ....

Backporting from 4.x to 3.8 would be pointless and likely more difficult than porting to 4.0 in the first place.

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to reset/rebuild the stats for a specific thread/vbookie event?

I had another instance of someone somehow getting an insane amount of vcash, so rather than abandon the event I edited his bets down to reasonable levels... Only problem is, the "Total amount staked" for example, doesn't reflect the new/edited values

it's not a big deal if there's no way to update that, just wondering if there's a way to do that...

Sorry, there's no easy way to do this. You'd have to get into the database and manually edit tables/adjust totals. It's the way it was originally written and all I've done is port the existing code over.

I wasn't trying to be lazy. It just means A LOT of the same work for everyone to go around through all the pages to find fixes etc..

So by you posting something that works for you. Chances are others will have it working too.

Is there a way to make the number of outcomes just 1? I want to be able to put up some accumulators but for members only to be able to bet on them once.

Is there some code that can be changed to allow only 1 outcome?

Is it right that the amounts that my members are posting are meant to go onto my overall total?

I myself had a limit of 500 like the others but now have over 3000.....

Quick question. I am thinking about upgrading my current forum to 4.1, but I have to be able to run vbookie on the forum. I currently have the 3.5 version working on my 3.8 install. If I upgrade to 4.1 and then install this, will it keep the existing vcash #s for my users?
