I've tried both the sponge and the towel. I tested it by chucking an egg and cleaning it right off. When I try to clean it with just the paint on it won't come off. She could be playing a joke on me and uploaded her avatar with the paint on it, but she seems to have eaten her bowl of ***** flakes today. Heh...

Been noticing not just paint splatter, but certain member avatar's stay stuck with whatever has been thrown on them. It won't clean off either. I suspect it should go away if I uninstalled the mod, but I rather like it... any help? :D
|
Are you using cache? If so what kind? What image system (GD or ImageMagick) are you using? How are you avatars stored? Are you noticing this on all types, or only ones that are external links, or stored in the database, or animated, etc...?

I'm going to post another request for user options. I know you said to just make another usergroup but the easier alternative as a whole would be to have options in the members User Cp. Basically an On/Off option where they could either use it and get egged or not use it and not get egged. I am getting some complaints about it and with multiple usergroups already it just seems easier to have an on/off option for the member to choose.

Actually, I don't think it will solve your problem either. Users who don't want to be egged will turn it off and be happy, but users trying to egg them will get an error saying "This user can't be egged" and be mad. I think perhaps the best solution is to provide a 4th item type. Good, Bad, Clean, and Protect. So a user could throw say a plastic sheet at their own avatar that would project them from the next x number of eggs thrown (cost depending on how many eggs it protects from). |
Ah, I don't use it for that anyway...it's just for fun to 90% of my members. Only about 10% don't like it.

That's a pretty good idea actually. How would I go about doing that or could you code it to do that and possibly without the use of credits, just have the option of how many to protect from when adding the item. |

http://www.iconarchive.com The 32x32 sized ones fit best. So I'll spare you for now hambil. I really doubt you'd want to visit my site anyway. Thank you for this eggxellent mod. Sorry, couldn't resist. :D |

my members say
sometimes it says your avatar is clean when its not is that a bug, or something. just thought i would let you know. great mod though otherwise. but my members get annoyed with that sometimes. |

Either way, the error message should be clearer, if nothing else. I will fix it, I just need to think it through. |

Being used more means it was being used on avatars of people who haven't logged into see the results yet probably. Hence, bring the bug to light.

Warning: getimagesize(): Read error! in [path]/admincp/eggadmin.php on line 437
This appears in the admincp with the latest version Edit: Holy crap, all my avatars are gone! |
Getting some strange display errors, that users are only saying is happening from Firefox. It's not happening in IE, so i'm wondering if this is a cross browser display issue.
Attachment 97469 The box containing the stuff to throw and all that is appearing in a seperate box below the proper table, rather than actually in the intended table. As said it's only happening in Firefox. This is using the default template, no custom changes have been made to the addon by me. I believe it was working fine in the last version, before this latest update. |
Just installed this on my test forums, looks pretty good, will install it on my main forums over the weekend..
|
This doesn't seem to auto parse on my memberinfo template. Most like because it's highly customized.
Can I get the exact URL change so I can manually update it? |
To all having issues:
Make sure you are using 2.3.1. Make sure you have upload and overwritten all the files. Make sure you have reverted any of the [tk] Egg Avatar templates you've changed before you upload the xml (with overwrite). Make sure your image path is correct. Make sure you don't have optimization turned on unless you are using vB Optimise. It's been a day and a half and I cannot reproduce any of the above problems on either of my two boards, so I'm going to need some help, and some login info. |

Sorry should have been more specific. The avatar image is still the normal one not the one that includes the eggs etc.. The post you referred me to seems to be about the placement of the link image. I tried anyways no change.
