TheChaosFactor 11-27-2009 03:54 PM

You are making the assumption that I didn't. I also posted the same thing over at their official site. What is funny is that kw802 had been on here answering a question while when I posted my question over there there was somebody else with an issue that hadn't yet been answered.... Just sayin'...

ravenfaust 11-28-2009 07:25 AM

When can we expect to be able to install .zip games?

Why don't you stop being so cocky, I read the support options, I have posted here and at least 5 threads on v3arcade site and I messaged their email. So whatever. This thing is so incredibly disappointing. waste of money, especially with no support.

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

why??kinda newbie here anyone...

DS MrSinister 12-08-2009 11:42 PM

you need to set user permissions for each group...

only you can make that happen. I have done my part, its nice for you to mention it.

grahamsmythe 12-26-2009 12:14 AM

Had this running under vBulletin v3.8.x and all was fine.

We just upgraded to vBulletin 4.0.0, but we now have a slight issue

Checkout the following link to see what our game menu now looks like...

Any ideas what the problem could be? The blue background continues right through the middle of the games, making them impossible to read.

http://www.vincentownersclub.co.uk/arcade.php

Here's thanking you in advance.

Probably because this hasn't been updated to work with vBulletin 4 ;)

grahamsmythe 12-26-2009 02:01 AM

Goodness me. My mistake - apologies for wasting your time!

That'll teach me to check the current version won't it.

Any idea if KW802 has any plans to release this for vBulletin v4.x?

fer_75 12-26-2009 10:52 AM

Please, tell us how to make it work on VB 4...??

furst 12-29-2009 07:18 PM

All my games are set to 10 Minimum Posts Per Day. How do I change them all at once to 0? I have like 1000 games.

LOL if you were a suporting member you might have that answer.

grahamsmythe 12-30-2009 06:51 AM

What's a Supporting Member, what does it involve, and how do I become one?

Gamelobby 01-03-2010 04:41 AM

If you are on their site "www.v3arcade.com" to get the latest version or support.
Why does it take you here "www.vB.org" when you click on download latest.. If 1.1 is not the latest..!?

Plus at the top it says to go to their site for support..!?
I'm confused, where do we go for help again..?

UKDarkstar 01-03-2010 06:51 AM

I'm afraid I've removed this from my forum due to the notice on the v3arcade site about suspending v1 games downloads.

No point in having the mod if I can't get the games for my Members. Have installed a rival product ;)

Speysider 01-16-2010 12:35 PM

Is the author of this mod ever going to fix the problem where people can't install games???

Care to link us.?

I'm really bummed, this one seemed so clean & easy to use.. :erm:

KW802 01-18-2010 08:54 PM

All: Yes, the vB4 version is being worked on. :) As some of you may know, the Lead Developer for v3 Arcade is Brian/Tigga who is also the owner & developer of the vBadvanced family of products. We understand everybody wants an updated version for vB4, and we're working on it, but for a truly integrated script like v3A is then it is not a quick & painless task.

All: The quickest way of getting my attention with a problem is over at v3A. Responses are a little slow during weekends but during the week (except for holidays) somebody is usually around.

Speysider: Please link me to your original post with your problem.

UKDarkstar: Huh? That just makes no sense. The games for download at v3A are just for example purposes to make life easy. The v3A support site is not a game distribution site, was never meant to be one, and never will be one. There are literally thousands of games out there that can be used with v3A, both v3A formatted games & IBP formatted games, and when you take Mochi into account there are several more thousand.

dallibose 01-22-2010 04:55 AM

how can i get more games for my website....I only have 5 games after installation...

KW802 01-26-2010 03:40 AM

Version 2.0.0 has been released. :D

There are some sample games available for v3A at v3Arcade.com or if you upgrade to the new 2.0.0 version you can use the thousands of Mochi Ads games.

Since v3A can also use IPB games, searching the net for IPB games and/or v3Arcade games will also find some sources.

sensimilla 01-26-2010 07:44 AM

Code:

MySQL Error  : Table 'database2.arcade_games' doesn't exist

sensimilla 01-26-2010 07:55 AM

Figured out on my own it was vbadvanced games module which probably will not work anymore.

TMH63 01-26-2010 12:36 PM

What is the crossdomain.xml that comes in the unzip file?

If I'm upgrading from v 1.1.1 to v2, does that need to be uploaded as well?

bada_bing 01-26-2010 12:42 PM

OK Just upgraded to 2.0 and now I get a white page when trying to access my arcade area and a database error? Also in the admin cp under the arcade settings they are not showing up correctly, I have uploaded the files 3 times already and the plugin with same results????
I have vb 3.8.3

From the notes on this page. http://www.v3arcade.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1934

6. Q: I created my new account, what else do I need to do?
A: First you will need to have installed v3 Arcade 2.0.0 or above! After that you will need to do some steps that will have you up & running in just a few minutes.

1. Log into your MochiAds account and click on the "Settings" tab.
2. Enter the domain URL to your site where you have v3 Arcade installed. For example, if your v3 Arcade is installed at http://www.MySite.com/forums/arcade.php then you would enter "www.mysite.com" as the URL name.
3. Follow the steps shown to verify that you are the owner of the domain.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen to the "Auto Post Settings" section.
5. For the "Auto Post Method" drop-down box, select the "Custom built script" option.
6. For the "Auto Post URL" text box, enter the following URL with your own information: http://www.MySite.com/forums/admincp...p?do=mochilive
7. Upload the file "crossdomain.xml" from the MochiAds folder inside of the v3 Arcade zip file to your root directory. This is needed to allow you to receive credit for the games played at your site and to also allow the MochiAds servers to calculate the checksums needed for the scores.

TMH63 01-26-2010 01:25 PM

Seamless upgrade from v1.1.1. Works like a champ.

Thanks!!

KW802 01-26-2010 01:54 PM

You guys/gals were busy during the night! :D

- 3rd party add-ons (like vBa Modules, etc.) will need to be slightly tweaked since the 2.0.0 table names, phrase names, etc. have all been changed. If it is something that has been posted publicly just point us in the direction and we'll give an updated copy. If it is a private hack/add-on, contact us somewhere (best place is over at v3A.com) and we'll point you in the right direction.

- As TMH63 (thanks!) pointed out, the new crossdomain.xml file is only if you are going to be using the new MochiAds integration features. If you're looking for new games and a chance to earn a little bit at the same time, it's a great feature.

Does anyone know from steps 7 if the root is the actual root of your site for example www.mysite.com or do they mean the root of your forums directory example www.mysite.com/forums/file
