I have vBA Dynamics installed on my forum for blogs. Is there a plugin or any other way to include the vBA Dynamics blog posts/views in this module?

Thanks for an awesome module. One of the best I've ever come across.

I have this installed and i have a style installed that is not showing the bars for the members activity ect.It is showing up like this

For some reason the images are not loading or something.Just wondering what i could do to fix it.I am new to Vbulletin and my coding is not that good.I figure out how to make it say everything once without the bars but i would like to be able to use the bar.The style i am using is Dark_Vb_fixed and fluid.Don't know if you will be able to answer this but i figured i would at least ask.Sorry im just a noob when it comes to this.

Checks settings, there you can move the bars to another hook.

Before any promotion will be active, you will need to activate it. On activation, there is the information.
A lite version will not be done. You can disable features that you don't need easily. Some of them, like the promotions, are already disabled by default.

You need to copy the images to ALL of your style folders.

yes I have ran a recount and still comes up the same. I checked just a bit ago and it still says 1900 from days ago no change

Is there a way when creating awards, I have some things subtracted instead of added? For example, 'Shyness award' would be views minus posts, or something like that?

In fact, any kind of maths use would be good. So, links divided into posts to find a proportion...

I deleted the three awards that are originally setup with this mod, but no awards I attempt to create myself show up on the Awards page of Experience. Any ideas why this is?

I'm running VB 3.8.2.

So to use the promotions system we have to edit the xml?
Is there a way to use only one promotion? As in...whenever user crosses 10k points, he gets promoted to a new usergroup...and if he drops below 10k, he gets demoted to the old user group.

Points are updated after doing a posting for that particular user. It's using a cron job every 10 minute for that.

Yes, just define two groups in the xml file: one up to 10k, one behind it. Please ask if you need further information.

yes the points are being calculated (the first 5 columns) the last column which is the one they use to purchase things ARE NOT being calculated...the 3 members that do have points in that column I added over 2 weeks ago and they have never changed even though they should have.

So when members go to purchase something even though they have "points" it says they have "0"

yes, edit the template xperience_gfx and remove it.

The last column is misc, right? Check statistics to see if there are some points.

Hi Phalynx!

First of all, thanks for this mod, it's great! :D

And now one question:
We want to use the promotions system just for one group, but we want the promotion based on activity, not level.
In other words, if a user in that group (only in that one) gets more than 15% activity, moves to another group, and if his activity is lower than 5% will go back to the previous group.

Is that possible?

I'm re-working the complete promotion system to make it dependable on every data provider (yes, also Activity) in vBExperience. It will also have a GUI in the AdminCP.

That would truly be awesome and be a real replacement for the standard vb promotions system.
As it is now it seems to not work well for all types of promotions one may want to do.

Ive encountered some sort of bug that awards one of my users nearly double the points or something.

Tell me if this makes any sense to you for a user who has 28,107 total posts.

Per forum is great, but things like a "Welcome New Users" thread that go on for years and years will end up making the "thread views"/"thread replies" feature have skewed results.
Whatever person is the guy that made that thread a bunch of years ago will be receiving points for eternity if i enable those features.

Hello Phalynx, I was recommended to use your mod by Phantasmagoric on my own site, I have come here today to see what the fuss is all about. I have a single user who is not receiving any experience. He is not ignored in any groups, nor is his userid ignored. Any suggestions on how to get him experience? He has a few posts etc.

I had the case on my site where 1 user didn't have his experience bars showing. Turns out he had a negative number of total points due to past infractions.

This user doesnt have any negative posts or anything, nor any infractions. Its only 1 user its affecting.

Please don't mix up points and threads or posts. You posted the points of the user, which he got by multiplying threads or post with the points in AdminCP, Setting, Experience Points.

Are you sure you updated all php files? It seems the class_xperience.php is outdated.

As the vBExperience 3.8.4 will be released next week, I will announce the changes.

- Awards: New Feature for Awards: You can enter a direct URL like "/images/awards/gold1.gif" instead of using the complicated identificator. You can use a small and a big image. Existing Awards are working like before.
- Awards: Change display style for awards on profile: Either included in Experience fieldset or in an extra block below albums
- Awards: Introduced Award Categories for a better grouping if using more awards
- Awards: New Awardlisting. You can choose whether this or the old style legacy blockwise Awardlisting.
- Awards: Logging of all issued awards
- Give Away Points. A new feature to share points with friends. You can choose freely of one of the point category and give away some or even all points.
- CDP: New Plugin for Advanced Forum Points. You can independent set points for several forums
- Ranking: Fixed pagination
- Recount has been moved to an own dedicated page: AdminCP, Experience, Recount
- New About Info with link to Support Thread
- Fixed HTML Validation errors
- Fixed several smaller problems

A Beta will be released on Monday, 11th May.

Okay, thank you for responding to me but you didn't answer my question, do you have any idea when linked items may be a feature of this mod (3.8.5/3.8.6)? I see the time frame between 3.8.2 & 3.8.3 was 2 months (approx), the time frame between 3.8.3 and 3.8.4 will be approx 1 month, can you give us a hint please? I would like very much to be able to use this mod @The Lair.
